Conference Reports27th Annual CIFST ConferenceThe 27th Annual CIFST Conference willbe held May 27 to May 30, 1984 at theHyatt Regency Hotel in Vancouver, British Columbia. The theme 'Quality' willweave its way throughout the conference. Quality - its importance, consumer views, marketing quality athome and abroad and nutritional aspects will be examined in various formsfrom keynote addresses to round tablediscussions, oral presentations and poster sessions. Special interest groupssuch as dairy, nutrition, engineeringand microbiology are planning sessionsas well. Twenty nine booths featuringa wide range of food ingredients, instrumentation and services will also befeatured.

The conference will close Wednesdayevening with a Salmon Barbeque at theVancouver Aquarium, which has beenreserved for our exclusive use. The program is designed to mix business witha measure of pleasure and the Commit-
