SKETCHES

Use of square design helps keep the design simple and sturdy.

ERGONOMIC CONSIDERATIONSRecliners are mostly used when you want to be seated in one place for a long time as they do not tier the body that quickly.

the “S” Shape design of the above recliner helps support the whole back while seated making it comfortable and ergonomic.

COMFORT CONSIDERATIONSthe furniture concept is meant for seating for long hours therefore comfort is crucial to the design idea.

Use of cousins with air pockets to increase comfort level

DESIGN CUESThe idea was to fit a curvy design into a box layout

I drew inspiration from this

and ended up with something like this

ADDITIONAL FEATURESbesides storage, the furniture would have the following features:

LED lighting for better viewing

Slide-in try for hold drinks and snacks.

MATERIALS USEDMaterials used would need to be Sturdy and lightweight.

Plastic wood will be used for the entire outer body of the furniture

For the seating a cushioned leather mat would be used.
