The invitation to the Lord’s Supper is ex- tended to all who have received Christian baptism. Baptized children who are being nurtured and in- structed in the significance of the invitation to the Ta- ble and the meaning of their response are invited to receive the Lord’s Supper. PRAYER C HANGES T HINGS Prayer is something we decide to do, allow time for and give our entire concentration to; believing and trusting our Heavenly Father cares. Please pray for Agnes Pesta, Ruth Shawver, Helen Kugel, Lois Stringer, Jean Shepherd, Marilyn Glasgow, Don Fowls, Kay Robinson, Mary Veith, Ruth Maxson, and Jenit Vance. Y OUTH MINISTRY Sunday, October 8 both Middle School and High School youth will be going to Iron’s Fruit Farm. Everyone will meet at MSPC at 12:30pm to carpool to event; Cost is $7.00 to do the corn maze plus extra for any snacks or pumpkins you might want to buy. We should be back at MPSC around 5pm. We still need additional drivers, if you are able to drive please contact Sandy Thompson. Note: No evening fellowship groups on this date. C HILDREN S MINISTRY - We have a number of openings to assist with our Children’s Ministry espe- cially on Sunday morning in Worship Explorers and Sunday School. If you can make a commitment for once a month your help will be greatly appreciated. Please contact Hannah in the church office if you are interested in learning more about these opportunities to serve in ministry. NEEDS* - C OMMUNITY P ANTRY We have been asked to collect donations of canned fruits and vegetables. Please give as you have been blessed to help those in our communities. Place your donations in the designated collection bin on Sunday. *Northeast Emergency Distribution Services 9:30am—Sunday School 10:30 am—Worship 11:30am—Lunch Invite your friends, family, old members, or someone who hasn’t been to church in a long time to Homecoming Sunday! We are celebrating with one special service followed by a covered dish lunch. We’ll also have a bounce house, cotton candy and popcorn. If you are able, please bring a dish to share. HOMECOMING PRAYER CARDS - Would you partner with us to pray? As we invite others we want to pray that the Lord would move on their heart to come to Homecoming Sunday. We will be passing out a perforated prayer card during the service. Fill out the top and bottom of the card with the names of those you want to invite.
