In   2004,   Jess   discovered   Performance   Psychology  

and   NLP   and   used   these   powerful   tools   to  transform  herself  and  her  life  in  just  6  months.  She  took  control  of  her   life,  gaining   in  confidence  and  

using   NLP   to   begin   a   journey   towards   achieving  every  dream  she  could  think  of.    

She   left   her   career   in   JPMorgan   to   become   a  performance   coach   and   help   other   people   to  achieve  their  dreams  too.  Jessica  now  coaches  and  

trains   business   professionals   from   around   the  world   as   well   as   coaching   individuals   such   as  Olympic  athletes  and  performing  artists.    

She   specialises   in   helping   people   achieve  impossible   dreams,   in   a   mission   to   prove   that  anything  really  is  possible  if  you  want  it  enough!  

On   her   journey   to   discover   the   limits   of   what   is  possible,   she   used   NLP   to   cure   her   own   back  disease  in  2006  to  become  pain  free,  after  almost  10  years  of  constant  pain.  The  realisation  of  what  

could  be  achieved  with  her  techniques,  lead  her  to

help  others   take   control   of   their   health.   Soon   after,  

she  returned  to  Taekwondo  training  and  in  Dec  2007,  she   won   Bronze   at   the   British   Championships   and  then  again  in  September  2008.  

Jess  sets  many  playful  and  exciting  goals  for  herself,  and   has   already   achieved   many   of   them,   such   as  

becoming  a  published  author,  presenting  her  own  TV  show  on  BBC3,  and  working  with  Olympic  athletes.  In  2011,   she   launched   her   own   brand   of   personal

Jessica   has   trained   under   the   expertise   of   Dr.Wyatt  Woodsmall,  one  of  the  very  first  and  most  renowned  

NLP   Trainers   in   the  world.     She   has   since   recruited  and   developed   her   own   elite   team   of   trainers   and  coaches  who  now  deliver  Jess  Robbins’  performance  

solutions   to   individuals   and   organisations   including  Citi,  Orange,  TalkTalk,  TNT  Logistics,  Travis  Perkins,  Vodafone,  FSCS  and  British  Sugar.

Why  invest  in  coaching  skills?  

According   to   the   Corporate   Leadership   Council,  increasing   employee   engagement   increases  performance   AND   employee   retention.   This   both  makes   and   saves   money!     They   found   that   an  employee’s   relationship   with   the   manager   is   the  biggest  factor  impacting  engagement!  So  we  focus  on  managers  first  and  foremost.    

How  can  managers  engage  people?  

Human  beings  engage  with  anything  that  provides  or   protects   their   basic   emotional   needs   for  security,   significance   and   connection.   We   can  teach   managers   to   fulfill   these   needs   through  emotional   intelligence   skills   and   people  management.   Coaching   is   the   most   efficient   skill  since   it  also   increases  performance  directly  at  the  same  time  as  engagement.  

What’s  so  great  about  being  a  coach?  

A   skilled   coach   can   quickly   ascertain   how   people  think,   what   motivates   and   demotivates   them,  what’s   important   to   them,   what   their   goals   are  and   how   to   influence   them   in   a   positive   way.   A

coach   also   has   the   questioning   and   interventional  skills   to   help   a   demotivated   employee   get   back   on  track,   overcome   challenges,   achieve   their   goals   and  feel  good  about  themselves.    

How  coaching  meets  our  emotional  needs?  

The  knowledge  that  your  manager  can  and  will  help  you  when   you   need   it,   is   trustworthy   and  will   hold  you   and   others   to   account,   creates   security   and  certainty.
