G12 STRATEGY

A.The church ceases to be centered upon a single person to do all the work; with the G12 Strategy, leaders are prepared for the task of the ministry (Eph. 4:12).

There is a transformation of the Church from a small grocery store to a supermarket; from a small business that is maintained by one person to a type of mall that is maintained by a manager that has to sell, to pay employees, to buy and stock inventory, all the way down to cleaning. This growth is impossible with the traditional small church model; supporting it is contrary to God; He is not pleased with a small harvest or with a small catch of fish (Luke 5:4-6;13:6-9; Mark 11:12-14, 20; Matt. 9:36-38; Acts 2:47; 6:7).

The “bus-type” effect is eliminated; that is to say, it’s always full with the same quantity, but thousands have passed through as passengers only for a short time.

With the G12 Strategy, we will keep the new believers not only inside the Church, but we also will form them as the leaders of those that will continue arriving.

The limit for growth doesn't depend upon the size of the building because the vision doesn't depend upon four walls; but rather, the limit depends upon cell multiplication that turns our gaze outside of the church, rather than inside only (Matt. 9:35-38).

If we lose this outward perspective of the church, we lose the end of the Church here in the earth (Mt.28:18-20).

Each believer is developed in the ministry by practicing in the cell (praying, advising, testifying, studying the Word, doing spiritual warfare, ministering, etc.)

The best way of learning is to follow an example and to have supervised practice. First, we see, then we attempt to do something with the help of a teacher. This makes it possible for a believer to become the leader that God desires.

The talents and gifts of the brethren (given at the new birth) are discovered (Ex: serving)*. This helps them find their place in the Body of Christ so that they can be more productive. Our own body teaches us this. For example, the eyes are extremely useful when they are located exactly where God meant for them to be.

* A type of tree can be discovered by sowing seeds. This is a slow but certain method.

A Church based on activities is not as strong as one that is based upon relationships. Activities come and go, but relationships last.

In Acts 2:44-47 relationships are mentioned before the disciples’ activities. If we are not careful, many times activities can distract us from the true objective of our vision.

The G12 strategy makes the participation of others in the work of ministry increase; when empowered, they work, promoting and protecting themselves in the vision, and as a result, their commitment is enlivened and strengthened.

Traditional churches do not provide enough opportunities for other believers to serve, and because of this, they complain.

In a persecution of the church or of its leader, the congregation that is organized through the G12 survives because it doesn't depend upon a single man, a single place or a single building.

A man has a limited capacity; a building has limited space; but cells can increase every day without limit, and through the power of this method the church is consolidated. In spite of the limits of a man or of a building, cells will continue multiplying.
