Has the government been pursuing a clear-cut policy towards the private sector? The answer to this question is not as easy as many people would expect. In the second CEOs Thoughts conference, slated for the 17th of November 2015, Al Mal GTM hopes to find some answers to this confusion.

Top business leaders will be invited to depict a clearer perception for the development of Egypt’s economy in the New Year, including projections for growth, inflation, exchange markets, etc. Their perceptions and projections will draw an evaluation of the domestic economic developments, challenges and opportunities in 2015. It is a characteristic of mega projects that they can stimulate business activities in a wide range of industries. But they are also very costly and financially insatiable. Therefore, timing is the most important factor in determining the ability of such projects to drive forward economic activity. Over the past year, Egypt finalized construction of a new channel for the Suez Canal in addition to expansions at the principal waterway. The government declared that the initiative was part of a broader scheme for development of the Suez Canal region – the Suez Canal Area Development Project. Dr. Hanie Sarie-Eldin:• Dr. Hani Sarie-Eldin is a prominent legal practitioner in Egypt and Middle East with an expertise of twenty-seven years in corporate, banking, arbitration, and capital market. • He is the founder & managing partner of Sarie-Eldin & Partners Legal Advisors.• Dr. Sarie-Eldin is a professor of Commercial and Maritime Law at Cairo University, and a Visiting Professor of Economic Development Law Queen Mary College at University of London. • He holds a Ph.D. in International Business Law from Queen Mary and Westfield College, university of London.• In addition to his private professional career, Dr. Sarie-Eldin had served in executive and non-executive public positions including Chairman of Capital Market Authority; Board member of the central bank of Egypt, and General Authority For Investment, and first official US-Egyptian Fund to promote investment in Egypt. • He also holds inter- alia, the positions of Chairman of SODIC a leading Real Estate Development Company and vice Chairman of Philip Morris Egypt.• Dr. Sarie-Eldin is currently the legal advisor of the Suez Canal economic zone development project.

Mr. Sherif Sami:• Sherif Samy is the Chairman of EFSA, Egypt’s regulator of all non-banking financial services: capital market, insurance, private pension funds, leasing, mortgage, factoring and microfinance. In this capacity he is the Chairman of its Financial Services Institute and its Auditors Oversight Unit.• Sherif is a member of the board of the Central Bank of Egypt and the country’s National Anti-Money Laundry Unit. He is the first Egyptian to be elected to the board of directors of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO).• An experienced senior executive in the areas of investment, capital markets and management, he was previously managing director of Banque Misr’s investment arm “Misr Capital” which managed a significant private equity portfolio in addition to managing two large mutual funds. • He served as board member of the Investment Authority, Banque Du Caire, the SME Development Fund in addition to numerous listed and privately held companies operating in the capital market, textile, urban development, engineering, education, logistics and mining sectors.

Mr. Ahmed Marwan:• Ahmed Marwan founded SIGMA Capital in 2000. He is the Chairman of the Board and under his leadership; SIGMA Capital has become one of the leading financial services companies in Egypt with a distinct quality edge. It's needless to mention that SIGMA Capital Securities, as well, is one of the top ten companies in Egypt.• Marwan has over twenty years of experience in the industry. He was previously a member of the board of directors of the Egyptian Stock Exchange. Before founding SIGMA Capital, Marwan was one of the founding partners at EFG-Hermes where he held several positions across multiple divisions, last of which was Managing Director. • Prior to EFG-Hermes, Marwan worked in the British capital markets, which provided him with international exposure.




Mr. Haitham Khaled Al Ansary:• Haitham Al Ansary is the CEO of PHC Investment Banking Co., Pioneers Holding investment banking arm.• He started his career in corporate banking and moved to Pioneers group in 2005 where witnessed and was part of Pioneers successful transformation from a brokerage company to an investment powerhouse.• Before his current position, Mr. Al Ansary was the CEO of Cairo Housing and Development Co., the first of Pioneers turnarounds.• He also held a number of positions in the group including Head of Research, GM of Investment Banking, and is currently on the board of directors of a number of listed and unlisted companies including Rooya Holding, Egyptian Cables Company, Arab Dairy Products, Universal Packing, and others.• Mr. Al Ansary holds a B.A. in Economics from the American University in Cairo.

Mr. Hassan El Shabrawishi:• Hassan El-Shabrawishi is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for AXA in Egypt.• Based in Cairo, he is credited for establishing AXA’s presence in Egypt besides formulating the company’s market entry strategy and investments as well as building its core leadership team.• He started his career in 2001 with Assurance Generales de France when the company entered the Egyptian market, focusing on Bancassurance. Post this, Hassan moved to Washington DC where he worked for the International Finance Corporation, a member of the World Bank Group.• Hassan is a certified director from the National Association of Corporate Directors in the US and holds an honors degree in Finance and Economics from Richmond University in London. He has also completed his MBA from the Instituto de Empresa (IE) Business School in Spain which is ranked the first in Europe and renowned for its entrepreneurial leadership.







Mrs. Lobna Helal:• Mrs. Lobna Helal assumed responsibilities in Arab African International Bank, the Egyptian American Bank and EFG - Hermes.• In 2004, Mrs. Helal joined the Central Bank of Egypt to develop and execute a full-fledged two phased Banking Sector Reform Program. In 2011, she was appointed as Deputy Governor.• Mrs. Helal represented the Central Bank of Egypt in several banking and governmental institutions. She sat on the Board of Directors of the Arab International Bank, the United Bank, the National Investment Bank, the Social Fund for Development and the Mortgage Finance Authority.• In 2013, Mrs. Helal was appointed as the Chairman and Managing Director of the Egyptian Mortgage Refinance Company (EMRC), which is a specialized financial institution that provides refinancing to primary mortgage lenders. • She also sits on the Board of Directors of the Guarantee and Subsidy Fund, Nasser Social Bank, the Financial Services Institute and the Social Housing Fund.

Mrs. Rana Adawi:• Mrs. Rana Adawi comes with prime expertise in Asset Management and over 21 years of experience in the financial services industry with leading international and regional financial institutions. • In 2010 Mrs. Adawi, took part in founding Acumen Holding with a paid in capital of LE 30 million. Under the holding company there are three main subsidiaries: Acumen Securities Brokerage, Acumen Asset Management, and Acumen-Beltone Real Estate Fund Management Company.• Mrs. Adawi is the chairperson and managing director of Acumen Asset Management, the company is managing Egypt’s Top performing balanced fund in 2014, and in three years “El Kheir”.




Mr. Akram Tinawi:• Mr. Tinawi is a seasoned senior banker with a long-standing successful track record that extends for more than 25 years in the field of credit, marketing and corporate banking with prime emphasis on project and corporate finance, government and institutional lending, trade finance and treasury sales. • His list of employers includes Egyptian American Bank, Bank of America, Citi Group, and Barclays. • He is currently the Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of Arab Banking Corporation Egypt. He is also a Board member of the Federation of Egyptian Banks, the Egyptian Competition Authority and Arab Banking Corporation – Tunisia.

Mr. Ayman Ismail:• Ayman is a Harvard graduate who received numerous global awards for his leadership, strategic thinking and marketing achievements. • After 26 years of diverse experience at two leading multinational companies P&G and PepsiCo, Ayman joined his family business DMG / Mountain View as Partner, Chairman & CEO to lead the expansion of the business and the establishment of Mountain View brand. • In mid-1998, he moved to Brussels and was appointed Global Marketing Manager where he led the global launch of “Swiffer” creating + $210MM business.• In 2006 Ayman moved back to Egypt as the Chairman of PepsiCo Egypt and President of North Africa.• In 2008 Ayman was promoted to PepsiCo South Asia, Middle East & Africa Regional Vice President. Also known for his passion for CSR he led the expansion of Pepsi successful CSR program “Pepsi football School League”. • Ayman serves as a board member of several organizations including JUHAYNA the leading dairy and Juice Company in Egypt. Ayman is also a board member of the Strategic Advisory Board, School of Business American University in Cairo. Mr. Hassan Hussein:• +30 Years: Senior level experience in Commercial Banking, Investment Banking, Portfolio Management and Mortgage Finance with particular emphasis on the Middle East, The Gulf, Egypt and Europe. • On the Mortgage Finance currently the Chairman and MD of the number 1 mortgage finance company in Egypt turned it around totally from ROE 5% to around 12% in 3 years.• He also holds the position of Chairman of Al Oula Leasing Co. and Chairman of Al Oula Real Estate Investment Co.• On the Commercial Banking side, has worked as Chairman, Vice Chairman, and CEO of Banks in Egypt (United Bank of Egypt, Egypt Arab Real Estate Bank), Qatar (Al Ahli Bank of Qatar) and Sudan (Egyptian Sudanese Bank).• Worked in senior level positions in major Commercial Banks in Bahrain and Abu Dhabi that included being Senior Credit Officer to all lending to the Middle East, the General Manager of a bank in Bahrain, and a Regional Manager in UAE in charge of restructuring 5 large branches.• On the Investment Banking side has served as Chairman & Managing Director of TIIA Underwriting mainly engaged in Corporate Finance Advice, M&A and Privatization with The World Bank, USAID, EC, Canadian AID and major Multinationals. Served as Deputy Chief Executive of USAID-Bechtel Privatization Project in Cairo.




Eng. Hesham Shoukri:• Architect Hesham Shoukri, Chairman & CEO of Rooya Group, one of Egypt’s fast-growing holding companies in the field of real estate development, tourism investment, contracting and consultancy, obtained his Bachelor Degree from the Faculty of Engineering – Ain Shams University in 1983.• Pursuing his practical career after graduation, Architect Shoukri started as consultant for Kinderdorf International for their projects in West Africa (1984 – 1993). In 1997, Architect Shoukri founded Tiba Group for Real Estate and Tourism Investment with capital of EGP200m, through which he developed many resorts in Ain El Sokhna (Red Sea Area) among them is the astonishing “la Vista”, in addition to residential compounds namely Patio 1 & 2 in New Cairo.• Acknowledging the growing potentials of the real estate sector in Egypt, Architect Shoukri, founded Rooya Group with investment of more than $2bn, in 2007. • Architect Shoukri is currently the vice president of the Egyptian Export Council of Real Estate; he is also vice president of Real Estate Chamber of Egypt.

Hussein Sabbour:• Mr. Sabbour is the Chairman of Al Ahly for Real Estate Development Co., the Egyptian Businessmen Association, Engineer Hussein Sabbour Consulting Office, and many companies working in the field of engineering sector such as: Oriental Resorts for Touristic Development, Al Ahly Urban Investment Co., Sinai Management and Development Co., Misr-America for Development, Relantex for Touristic Villages and Egyptian Co. for Entertainment and Touristic Attractions.• Besides; he acte as the board member of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones, the Egyptian British Chamber of Commerce, Egyptian Construction Export Council, and National Co. for Construction and Development.• He was board member in Scientific and Social Associations as: the Center for Advancement of Post-Graduate Studies and Research in Engineering Sciences, Faculty of Engineering- Cairo University, Alumni of the Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University, and the Supreme Council for Egyptian Red Cross Association.• He was the founder of many associations: Federation of Consultant from Islamic Countries – Istanbul, African Business Round Table – Abidjan, and the First Egyptian Company to handle the BOT projects.• He held the position of the Chairman for the Egypt-US Business Council, Mohandes Bank and Real Estate Egyptian Consortium.

على حقوق المساهمين من 5٪ إلى حوالي 12٪ خالل ثالث سنوات.• ويشغل ايضًا منصب رئيس مجلس ادارة األولى للتأجير التمويلي و رئيس مجلس ادارة

األولى لالستثمار العقاري.• وبالنسبة لخبرته فى البنوك التجارية، فقد عمل رئيسا، ونائب رئيس مجلس اإلدارة، والرئيس

التنفيذي لعدد من البنوك في مصر، أهمها البنك المصري المتحد، والبنك العقاري العربي المصرى(، و بنك قطر األهلى، و البنك السوداني المصري.

• كما تقلد مناصب عليا في البنوك التجارية الكبرى في البحرين وأبو ظبي ، كأول مسؤول ائتمان لجميع القروض في منطقة الشرق األوسط. كما تولى منصب المدير العام ألحد

البنوك في البحرين، والمدير اإلقليمي في دولة اإلمارات العربية المتحدة، المسؤول عن إعادة هيكلة 5 فروع كبيرة .

• وبالنسبة لبنوك االستثمار، تولى عدة مناصب أهمها رئيس مجلس اإلدارة والعضو المنتدب فى TIIA التى تقدم االستشارات المالية للشركات . كما عمل مع البنك الدولى ، وهيئة

المعونة األمريكية.

م/ هشام شكري :• المهندس هشام شكرى رئيس شركة رؤية لالستثمار العقارى والسياحى

• تخرج فى كلية الهندسة جامعة عين شمس، وعقب تخرجه بدأ حياته المهنية ، حيث عمل كاستشارى فى شركة كندردورف العالمية لمشروعاتها فى غرب افريقيا، خالل الفترة

من 1984 - 1993.• وفى عام 1997، أنشأ شكرى مجموعة طيبة لالستثمار العقارى والسياحى برأسمال قدره

200 مليون جنيه. ومن خالل الشركة قام بتطوير العديد من المنتجعات فى منطقة العين السخنة.

• وإدراكا لفرص النمو المرتبطة بالقطاع العقارى فى مصر، أسس شكرى مجموعة رؤية عام 2007 ، باستثمارات تربو على 2 مليار دوالر.

• ويشغل شكرى حاليا منصب نائب رئيس المجلس التصديرى المصرى للعقارات، ومنصب نائب رئيس غرفة االستثمار العقارى.

شركة بروكتر وجامبل وشركة بيبسيكو، إنضم لشركة دي. إم. جي./ مونتين فيو كشريك، ورئيس مجلس إدارة ورئيس تنفيذي ليقود التوسع في األعمال.

• وفي منتصف عام 1998، انتقل إلى بروكسل، وعين مدير التسويق العالمي حيث قاد تدشين »سويفر«.

• وفي عام 2006 ، انتقل أيمن إلى مصر كرئيس لشركة بيبسي كوال مصر، ورئيس شمال أفريقيا. وفي عام 2008 تمت ترقيته إلى نائب الرئيس اإلقليمي فى شركة بيبسي كوال

لجنوب آسيا والشرق األوسط و أفريقيا. وهو معروف بحبه لبرامج المسئولية االجتماعية، حيث قاد بنجاح برنامج المسؤولية االجتماعية للشركات فى بيبسى.

• وهو عضو مجلس إدارة العديد من المؤسسات، منها جهينة ) الشركة الرائدة لأللبان والعصائر في مصر(، والمجلس االستشارى االستراتيجى، وكلية إدارة األعمال في الجامعة

األمريكية بالقاهرة،وهو أيضا األمين العام لمؤسسة معًا لتنمية األحياء الفقيرة واألمين، العام لمنتدى أهل مصر التابع لمؤسسة األبحاث وحل المشاكل.







أ/ لبنى هالل :• بدأت السيدة/ لبنى هالل حياتها العملية فى قطاع البنوك وبنوك االستثمار المتخصصة ،

حيث عملت بالبنك العربي اإلفريقي والبنك المصري األمريكي والمجموعة المالية المصرية - هيرميس.

• التحقت السيدة/ لبنى هالل بالبنك المركزي المصري لتشرف على إعداد وتنفيذ برنامج تطوير وإعادة هيكلة القطاع المصرفي بمرحلتيه األولى والثانية والتي امتدت من 2004 إلى

2011 وتم تعيينها نائبا لمحافظ البنك المركزي المصري فى عام 2011.• خالل فترة عملها بالبنك المركزي المصري ) 2004 - 2013( ، مثلت السيدة/ لبنى هالل البنك

فى العديد من المؤسسات المصرفية والحكومية منها على سبيل المثال وليس الحصر:- عضو مجلس إدارة المصرف العربي الدولي

- عضو مجلس إدارة المصرف المتحد - عضو مجلس إدارة بنك االستثمار القومي

- عضو مجلس إدارة الصندوق االجتماعي للتنمية - عضو مجلس إدارة هيئة التمويل العقاري

- فى مارس 2013، تقلدت السيدة/ لبنى هالل منصب رئيس مجلس اإلدارة والعضو المنتدب للشركة المصرية إلعادة التمويل العقاري والتي تعتبر مؤسسة مالية

متخصصة إلعادة تمويل الجهات المانحة للتمويل العقاري في السوق األولى. كما إنها عضو من ذوى الخبرة فى مجلس إدارة صندوق ضمان ودعم التمويل العقاري و بنك ناصر االجتماعي و صندوق اإلسكان االجتماعي ومعهد الخدمات المالية ، فضال

عن كونها عضو باللجنة االستشارية المعاونة للهيئة العامة للرقابة المالية في شئون التمويل العقاري.

• فى يونيو 2015 ، تم انتخاب السيدة/ لبنى هالل كأول رئيس لالتحاد المصري للتمويل العقاري.

أ/ رنا عدوي :• تمتلك عدوى خبرة راسخة في هذا المجال تمتد أكثر من 21 عامًا في مجال االستثمار فى

األوراق المالية مع كبري البنوك االستثمارية اإلقليمية والدولية. • في عام 2010 شاركت عدوي، في تأسيس مجموعة أكيومن القابضة، برأس مال مدفوع

قدره 30 مليون جنيه. وتتبع الشركة القابضة ثالث شركات هي: أكيومن لتداول األوراق المالية، و أكيومن إلدارة األصول، و شركة بلتون - أكيومن لالستثمار العقارى. وتشغل عدوى منصب رئيس مجلس اإلدارة، والعضو المنتدب لشركة أكيومن إلدارة األصول، وتدير الشركة

صندوق الخير، أفضل صندوق من حيث االداء فى عام 2014.




أ/ أحمد مروان :• مؤسس ورئيس مجلس إدارة سيجما كابيتال القابضة منذ نشأتها في عام 2000، والذي توسعت المؤسسة تحت قيادته لتصبح واحدة من المؤسسات المالية الرائدة في مصر

بخدمات ذات جودة عالية، واستطاعت سيجما كابيتال لتداول األوراق المالية أن تدخل ضمن أكبر 10 شركات تداول أوراق مالية في مصر.

• يمتلك أحمد مروان خبرة في مجال الخدمات المالية تزيد عن الـ 20 عامًا حيث كان عضواً بالجمعية المصرية لألوراق المالية وعضواً بمجلس إدارة البورصة المصرية.

• قبل تأسيس سيجما كابيتال كان أحمد مروان أحد الشركاء المؤسسين للمجموعة المالية المصرية هيرميس حيث شغل منصب العضو المنتدب بشركة هيرميس لتداول

األوراق المالية لمدة سبع سنوات. قبل التحاقه بشركة هيرميس، عمل أحمد مروان بأسواق المال بالمملكة المتحدة فاكتسب خبرة كبيرة في مجال سوق المال واالقتصاد استطاع

أ/ / هيثم خالد األنصاري :• هيثم األنصاري هو الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة بى اتش سى للخدمات المصرفيه

االستثماريه، وهى الذراع االستثمارية لشركة بايونيرز القابضة. • بدأ األنصاري حياته المهنية في إدارة الخدمات المصرفية للشركات، وانتقل الى مجموعة

بايونيرز عام 2005 ، حيث شهد وشارك فى عملية تحولها الناجح من شركة وساطة مالية إلى شركة استثمار.

• قبل توليه منصبه الحالي، كان األنصاري يشغل منصب الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة القاهرة لالسكان والتعمير، وهي أول نشاط تتحول عنه بايونيرز.

• كما تولى عددا من المناصب في المجموعة منها رئيس قسم البحوث، ومدير عام الخدمات المصرفية االستثمارية.

• ويشغل حاليا منصب عضو مجلس اإلدارة فى العديد من الشركات المقيدة، وغير المقيدة في البورصة المصرية، من بينها رؤية القابضة، وشركة الكابالت المصرية، والعربية

لمنتجات األلبان، وشركة يونيفرسال لصناعة مواد التعبئة والتغليف، وغيرها.• واألنصارى حاصل على درجة البكالوريوس فى االقتصاد، من الجامعة األمريكية بالقاهرة.

أ/ حسن الشبرويشي :• كان له الفضل فى إنشاء أكسا في مصر، باإلضافة إلى صياغة استراتيجيات االستثمار،

ودخول الشركة في السوق ، فضال عن بناء فريق القيادة األساسية.• بدأ الشبراويشى حياته المهنية عام 2001، فى شركة جنرال الفرنسية للتأمين، عندما دخلت

السوق المصرية، مع التركيز على التأمين البنكى، ثم انتقل إلى واشنطن حيث عمل فى مؤسسة التمويل الدولية، التابعة للبنك الدولي.

• والشبراويشى مدير معتمد من الرابطة الوطنية لمدراء الشركات في الواليات المتحدة، وحاصل على مرتبة الشرف في العلوم المالية واالقتصاد من جامعة ريتشموند في لندن.

كما حصل على ماجستير إدارة األعمال من معهد امبريسا فى آسبانيا.







السّير الذاتية

د/ هاني سري الدين :• تخرج الدكتور/ هاني سري الدين من كلية الحقوق جامعة القاهرة عام 1987، وحصل على

درجة الدكتوراه من جامعة لندن عام 1994.• وقد شغل الدكتور/ سري الدين مناصب أكاديمية عدة أهمها رئاسته لقسم القانون

التجاري والبحري بكلية الحقوق جامعة القاهرة، ورئاسة قسم القانون والتنمية االقتصادية بكلية كوين ماري، جامعة لندن.

• ولسري الدين خبرة طويلة بالمحاماة في عمليات البنوك وأسواق المال والتحكيم تزيد على 27 عاماً، وهو يرأس حاليًا مكتب سري الدين لالستشارات القانونية والمحاماة، كما أن له خبرات إدارية ومهنية أهمها عمله كمدير تنفيذي ألحدي كبريات المجموعات التجارية

والمالية في اإلمارات عام 2002 وعاد بعدها الى مصر عام 2005 ليتولى مسئولية رئاسة هيئة سوق المال المصري.

• وشغل الدكتور هاني سري الدين عضوية مجالس إدارة العديد من الهيئات العامة منها عضوية مجلس إدارة البنك المركزي، وبنك مصر وبنك اإلسكندرية والمصرف المتحد

والهيئة العامة لالستثمار وهيئة التنمية السياحية والجهاز التنظيمي لمرفق الكهرباء، كما ترأس لجنة االستثمار بالهيئة العامة للبريد، كما أنه يرأس مجلس إدارة العديد من الشركات،

منها رئاسته لمجلس إدارة شركة سوديك، إحدى كبريات شركات االستثمار العقارية، كما يشغل منصب نائب رئيس مجلس إدارة مجموعة فيليب موريس مصر.

• وهو حاليًا المستشار القانوني لمشروع تنمية المنطقة االقتصادية لقناة السويس.

أ/ شريف سامي :• رئيس مجلس إدارة الهيئة العامة للرقابة المالية، المختصة باإلشراف والرقابة على كافة

األنشطة المالية غير المصرفية بمصر. ويتولى بهذه الصفة رئاسة مجلس إدارة معهد الخدمات المالية و وحدة الرقابة على جودة أعمال مراقبى الحسابات المقيدين لدى

الهيئة. وانتخب كأول مصرى لعضوية مجلس إدارة المنظمة الدولية لهيئات األوراق المالية )األيوسكو( للدورة التي تنتهي في منتصف عام 2016.

• وهو عضو مجلس إدارة البنك المركزي المصري وعضو مجلس أمناء وحدة مكافحة غسل األموال وتمويل اإلرهاب.

• يتمتع شريف سامي بخبرة كبيرة في مجاالت االستثمار و سوق المال و اإلدارة، وشغل قبل ذلك منصب العضو المنتدب لشركة استثمارات بنك مصر )مصر المالية( والتي تدير

مساهمات مباشرة إضافة إلى إدارة صندوقين بالبورصة المصرية.
