What is a Local Committee?
A Local Committee (LC) is an Entity that is responsible to run AIESEC operations within a university of city. It is tasked to transmit the purpose and vision of the organization to the youth of the world and shape its future leaders.
What is an EB?
An Executive Board (EB) is a team within AIESEC that is responsible for setting the vision and direction of an LC, along with the management of its operations and members. The EB is composed of its Local Committee President (LCP) and Local Committee Vice Presidents (LCVPs)

Selection Process Application Package The application package includes the following: Application: • Consists of questions tackling the capability of the candidate • Application has to be filled in English and can’t exceed 10 pages • All questions must be answered • Application should be saved in PDF format

Selection Process Interview The candidate will be required to sit for a 60-120 minutes interview with the LCP and MCP. The candidate will be asked questions about the application, strategies, goals and plans. The candidate can be asked for a second interview if requested by the LCP. Confidence The candidate will be required to attend the confidence elections, where the full members of the LC shall cast their to whether they see the candidate worthy of LCP or not. Tips
• Invest time in research. Contact people from different backgrounds (MC, LCP, LCVP, Members…).
• Don’t lose your voice. Although external input is important. It is still your application, and you need to incorporate your ideas into the mixture.
• Have fun. The process should not be bothersome. It is an opportunity to develop and take on new experiences, not cause stress.
