About PhysiotherapyPhysiotherapy is the treatment of disease, injury, or deformity by physical methods such as Exercise, Massage, Electrical modalities rather than by drugs or surgery. Physiotherapy is a science-based profession and takes a 'whole person' approach to health and wellbeing, which includes the patient's general lifestyle. At the core is the patient's involvement in their own care, through education, awareness, empowerment and participation in their treatment.

Physiotherapy’s Important Roles in our lives Physiotherapy is Unique in all of the health professions which can be described by following words

“Doctor Gives Years to Life,While Physiotherapy Gives Life to Years.” Physiotherapy is paramedical course equivalent to dental, ayurvedik, homeopathic, nursing. It is degree-based healthcare profession of 4 years of academic

and sixth month's rotatory internship.

Physiotherapy has expanded its boundaries from child to adult, Sportsman to Housewives. Following are branches in the field of Physiotherapy:

About AKAR Col lege of Physiotherapy4 Our goal is based on the tradition of liberal

4 Akar College of Physiotherapy is located centrally between S.G highway and S.P ring road.

4 Clinical Posting at well-known hospitals of Ahmedabad.

4 Digital Classroom with audio-visual facilities.4 Counseling Session: Individual attention is

given to the Students for academic and non-academic issues.

4 Timely arranged lecture of Expert Faculties. 4 Akar College has its own Akar Physiotherapy

centre (O.P.D.) of around 50-60 patients/day in the college for betterment of Community and students' clinical exposure

4 Separate Hostel Facility for boys and Girls.4 Parents-Teacher meeting 3-4times/year for

understanding students problems in study.4 SMS system: parents and student would be

updated and informed by college regarding regularity, mock test, exam timetable, progression reports, holidays, etc.
