AKER is a unified, modular solution for taking part in the urban farming movement. The kits flat pack and snap together in minutes without tools, screws or glues, and are designed for small urban space environments.
Because the designs are digital, they can be produced LOCALLY to almost any shop, area, or marketplace.

AKER KIT MATERIALS
- SUSTAINABLE- EXTERIOR GRADE- LOCALLY SOURCED
AKER is designed to be flexible. Our products can be made from many different kinds of sheet materials, including wood, recycled plastic and composites.
Our default material is SkyPly, an exterior-grade toxin-free FSC certified plywood made in the USA. This is our lowest-cost option, but we can supply customers with recycled plastics like METEM and fiber composites like Richlite.

A wall-mounted planter system for growing herbs, flowers or other small plants. It has four planter modules and a railing system mountable in interior or exterior spaces. The planters are designed to easily slot in and out of the rails, making them simple to remove for harvesting or placing in another part of the home.
Our most simple easy to assemble plant bed. This is a great entry-level kit that snaps together in under a minute and slots seamlessly into a backyard or rooftop to start growing vegetables or other plants. This kit comes with 12” markers to help divide the bed into sections for square foot gardening.

A multi-level raised plant bed designed for growing vegetables and other plants. Raised beds are perfect for areas without soil, like rooftops or urban areas with high levels of soil toxicity. Multi-level beds are also great for creating microclimates for different plant needs, due to the levelled structure.
A compact vermicomposting system offering a sustainable way to convert food waste into nutrient-rich organic fertilizer. Worms within the system process organic scraps to nourish other plants and vegetables growing in the home, making it perfect for small families and much more efficient than standard hot or cold composting.systems.

A modern chicken coop designed to house up to two hens. The sturdy snap-fit design creates a protective and well ventilated shelter during the night, while the locking door gives the hens an easy exit and re-entrance during the day. The Egghaus also has an easy access roost for collecting eggs.

The Colorado Top Bar is a beautiful beehive for backyards, community gardens or rooftops. Designed by our team in Colorado and inspired by the classic Kenyan Top Bar design, the CTB contains minimal parts and requires almost no equipment to harvest honey and wax.
