Herefordshire Tucked away in our villages and along our country lanes are all

sorts of talented people. The beauty of our local landscape has long attracted artists, and this September Herefordshire Art Week opens the doors of some of the best. A locally developed art trail takes in a number of galleries, workshops, people’s homes and even open

woodland, which you’re welcome to visit, watch people at work and in some cases even try creating some art yourself.

TellusabouthowyoustartedThereasonwemovedherewasthatit’sbeautiful!Initiallyweplantedtwoacresofvinesandcarriedoutmostoftheworkourselves.I(Ann)attendedacourseonwinemakingataCollegeinSussex.Forthefirstfewyearswesentthegrapesawaytobeturnedintowine,butinthemid-1990sweproducedourfirstwinein-house,thankstothehelpofaGermanwinemakerwhocameandspenttimehelpingushereattheVineyard.Itwasfinallyacaseofputtingitallintopractice.
