All Souls’ Day (November 2nd)

Throughout the month of November, we will be praying and celebrating Masses for our departed brothers and sisters. It is also a time to visit graves where our loved ones are buried as it is the anniversary of death. All Souls envelopes are available in the vestibule for those who may need them. Also, the Book of the Dead is in the vestibule to write in those loved ones who have passed away. The Book of the Dead and the All Souls envelopes will be brought up to the altar at each Mass throughout November. May the Souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.

First Friday, Adoration & Benediction November 6

th will be First Friday of the month.

The 8:00 am Mass will be followed by Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament until Benediction at 8:00 pm. Come and spend some quiet time in adoration with Our Lord, or better yet, commit to one holy hour.

Marriage and the Mystery of God. The Diocese of Sacramento is offering a four-evening

series that explores the beauty of marriage as God designed it, taps into the depths of marriage as a

Sacrament, and provides practical ways for marriages to flourish. Taught by Steve Patton, MA, JD, from 6:30 – 8:30

pm on the evenings of November 23, 30, December 7 & 14. Attendance can be either live in Sacramento at the Diocesan Pastoral Center or at home via internet live stream. $30 per couple for the series includes a great workbook. For more information and to register, go

(20 hrs. a week) Administrative Assistant for the Safe Environment

Office. This position is responsible for maintaining the computer

fingerprint/background check database for all parish and school

employees and volunteers. The successful candidate must be proficient

in Microsoft Word and Access, be a practicing Catholic, and be able to

handle sensitive and personal information in a professional manner.
