• Better judgement around grade boundaries• Better match of student ability and final grade• Allows all evidence to count• Gives a mechanism for aggregating question grades

Grade-score marking
• Assessment schedule defines evidence for N0 to E8 for each question
• Cut-score meeting – decides grade boundaries based on comparison of candidate work and standard
• For a 3 question exam paper, max score is 24.– Minimum total score for A is 7– Minimum for M is 13– Minimum for E is 19– but cut scores can be set higher

• 23 Nov to 7 Dec – final results entry

– 2: Make inferences from surveys and experiments
– 3: Evaluate a wide range of statistical reports
