13. Jon Burkhart, Founder, Hybrid Vigour Jon is founder of
content marketing consultancy Hybrid Vigour where he partners with
a variety of other overly enthusiastic multi-taskers to deliver
content that connects emotionally with real people. Hes also the
co-author of Newsjacking: The Urgent Genius of Real-time
Advertising and a new book called Hacker Maker Teacher Thief. In
2010, he co-founded the worlds first blog dedicated to real-time
creativity UrgentGenius.com. He currently sets up real-time content
newsrooms and leads content strategy workshops and hack days for
brands, agencies and universities. He also speaks at conferences
like South By Southwest Interactive where he now serves on the
Advisory Board. In 2013 at SXSW, he launched Millennial Mentoring,
a programme where digital natives mentor CEOs. Previously, Jon
helped a few YouTube channels with content strategy and audience
development. Before that, he was social media creative director at
Iris Worldwide, where he worked for the likes of BBC Comedy, Adidas
and Philips.
