SURGERY

The disposable Skin Stapler by MeHoS makes suturing a quick, easy and safe process. It helps the surgeon considerably and gives to the patient a quick and pain-less healing. Thanks to the automatic release system of the staple the surgeon does not need to use any pressure on the patient’s skin, pressure that would make the removal of the staples painful. The staples are made in medical grade stainless steel and they can stay in place for a long time, thanks to their biocompatibility, giving the patient a quicker recovery.

SURGERY

EMODREN is a continuous suction drain warrant a physiologically optimaldrainage of the wound, and preventing post-operative haematomaswithout disturbing already initiated coagulation processes. Its 120-130mm Hg suction force is produced by a steel spring, which is its maincharacteristic. It comes complete with a 100 cm long suction tube, a manually detachablemulti-diameter connection, a drainage tube, and a double Y-connection foran eventual second drainage tube. The full range of Emodren products makes it possible to as-sembly different sets combining 500/700 ml bellows to 50 cm long drainage tubes of differentdiameters with perforation along 14 cm (single rows on Ø 2.4 and 3.2 mmand double offset rows on Ø 4.2, 4.7, 5.7 mm). Model P is packaged with a disposable Inox gui-de-needle already assembled on the drainage tube.

SURGERY

With a relatively modest suction of 70-80 mm Hg,MINI EMODREN is most suited to surgery of smallparts of the hand or foot, micro-surgery and plasticsurgery.The perforated drainage tube adapts perfectly toevery anatomical profile, including fingers, thuspreventing the formation of fibrous scar tissue inthe operative wound and tendon sheaths.It is supplied with a 7 cm suction tube, a manuallydetachable multi-diameter connection and a drainagetube TD 14/22 (Ø 2.4 mm).The set can be provided with a drainage tube of adifferent diameter.The two models (with 50 and 100 ml bellows) in theP version come packaged together with a disposableguide needle already assembled on the drainage tube.

The Emodren Closed Circuit is a drainage system in continuous aspiration consisting of a 250 ml low-density PE bellows that generates a suctionpower of 100-110 mm Hg.It has a no-return valve linked via a luer-lock to a 700 ml collection bag (it too fitted with an internal no-return valve) and a water-repellent air filter.The bag may be replaced one or more times with a spare one. The Emodren CC can be supplied in a base model without the drainage tube or in various versions with differing diameter drainage tubes (Ø 2.4 - 3.2 - 4.2 - 4.7 - 5.7 mm), with or without guide needles on them.The Emodren CC makes it possible to drain off considerable quantities of fluid without disconnecting or opening the system, thus guaranteeingmaximum safety for the operator, who may also choose whether to use a PVC or silicone drainage tube (the relevant connectors are in the kit provided). The Emodren CC is indicated for breast surgery, thyroidectomies, urological surgery, orthopaedic surgery, general surgery and whenever a washing/drainage procedure is required.

UROLOGY

The positioning, shape and size of the two opposing lateral drainage holes, have been particularly designed to ensure a complete drainage of the bladder.The pediatric version, length 30 cm, sizes Ch. 6 – 8 – 10, is provided with a semi-rigid stylet which facilitates the insertion.Is used as a bladder drainage catheter for a medium and long term.

Stay in situ:The device can remain in situ for up to 42 days, in respects of the standards EMDD “European Medical Device Directive”.
