ANATOMY IN CLAY® Learning Systems/ the MANIKEN® model“The mind cannot forget what the hands have learned.”™
Whether building muscles, veins, arteries or other anatomical systems, we offer colors of clay to emphasize the distinction. It is user safe, reusable, oil based and doesn’t dry out.
The tools are also user safe, uncomplicated, and yet effective. They offer the student the opportunity to use their hands and train their mind. This optimizes the kinesthetic process.
We offer an educator’s instructional guide for building the MANIKEN® model. This includes the muscular, digestive, cardiovascular, lymphatic systems as well as others. The area of focus is simply your choice.
We also offer a five volume atlas. Compare this atlas with any other, and you’ll notice that the muscular system comes alive by offering visual points of origin and insertion, as well as a multi-dimensional perspective of isolated musculature. Follow the order of the atlas and you’ll find the MANIKEN® model builds itself.
The hands do teach the body & the brain one muscle at a time, similar to learning a dance step. Once it’s taken, it’s embodied.
