1.   Mul3disciplinary   work   teams:   Involve   the   “owner”   or   “owners”   from   the   very  beginning   (defini8on   of   challenge,   member   of   the   jury,   management   of   the  implementa8on)  

2.   Open  to  any  ideas  vs.  calls  related  to  specific  Challenge:  Be  sure  is  balanced.  Take  into  account:  the  effort  you  can  put  in  this  process  (€,  HR,  …),  the  type  of  solu8on  you  are  looking  for  and  the  8ming.      

3.   Solu3ons  vs  Challenges:  Don’t  ask  for  a  solu8on,  expose  a  challenge  to  be  solve.      

4.   Legal   aspects:  Be   sure   that   you   take   into  account   the   legal   framework   for   “buying  innova8on”  in  your  country.  From  the  first  moment  decide  if  you  are  looking  for  ideas,  if  you  want  to  pilot  or  you  are  willing  to  buy  a  product/service.    

5.   Poli3cal  role:  It  can  begin  with  boOom  up  proac8vity  and  few  resources  ....  But  later  you’ll  need  a  Poli8cal  commitment  to  scale  it.
