This isn’t me, but I wore outfits like these, and my boy friend dressed like the guys in the picture.

Although, I placed out of freshman English at UT, I decided to get married and support my husband while

he attended Texas A&M. What was I thinking?

In the 1990s I moved to Austin, attended ACC, Southwest Texas State, and received a Masters in

Liberal Arts from Texas State University.

Shortly after graduating, I began teaching Developmental Reading at Austin Community College in

the building where my dad attended high school.

Here are my sons Michael and C.A.
