19 students from our school had participated in Inter School Competition at Sardar Higher Secondary
School, Kotputli which was organized by Transport Safety Department, Rajasthan. Our students won
many prizes in different categories. The details are given below:

The school got international benchmark after securing International School Award. This award recognises the work the school does to promote internationalism across the curriculum. The Principal, Mr. Nurul Haque had attended the award ceremony at British Council Delhi on 13 December 2017 where the School is awarded with accreditation certificate and trophy for a period of 2017-2020.We are the first among ABG schools to get this award.

Praveen Yadav won GOLD MEDALin 800 mts race. (UN- 14 years)
Harshdeep Singh of class XI won BRONZE MEDALin 800 mts race. (UN-19 years)
PraveenYadav also received BEST ATHLETE AWARD in under 14 category for winning two gold medals.
He was also selected for CBSE NATIONAL ATHLETIC MEET which was to be held at Allons Public School, Bijabhat Village, Chattisgarh.
The rest of the students were in the top 8 position in the athletic meet.
IIndINTERNATIONAL CLASSICAL DANCE COMPETITION AND FESTIVAL, 2017 Two students from our school, Anwesha Chattopadhya from class V and Chakshu Sharma from class VI participated in this competition at Delhi. It was organised by Nitrayanjali, New Delhi. They bagged the II POSITION in KATHAK ( DUET) In this competition more than 500 students from different schools had participated
STATE LEVEL PAINTING COMPETITION
Two students from our school, Chakshu Sharma from Class VI and Kriti
Choudhary from Class IX were selected to participate in State Level Painting
Competition. It was organized by Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Power Ministry,
Govt. of India. They were among the best 50 out of more than 1 lakh students,
where 1600 schools had participated. They participated in this competition at
Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan Vidyashram, Jaipur.
Our students won at STATE LEVELcompetitions and qualified for NATIONAL LEVEL

Participation in Indian Youth Parliament
Miss Vasundhara Shekhawat and Master Aman Shrivastav of class XII A participated in Indian Youth Parliament at Jaipur on the occasion of UN World Democracy Day
CBSE AEROBICS NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
The Aerobics Team (girls) of our school had participated in CBSE Aerobics National Championship which was held at Seaba International Public School, Lehra gaga, Sungrur from 25 October,2017 to 29 October, 2017. The team had performed well and received participation certificates
ABG GROUP SCHOOL COMPETITIONS
NehaYadav IX-B and RitikaYadav XI-A participated in the final round at Gulbarga, Karnataka for Inter ABPS English Debate competition. (12th Oct. 2017) Master Kartik Srivastav XIA and Master Aman Srivastava participated in the Final round of Inter School Quiz Competition (ABG Schools) (21st Nov. 2017)
Our School participated in the final round of Inter School One Act Play- Rendition at ABHS, Veraval. (18th Nov. 2017)

NEW INITIATIVES
INTERNATIONAL AWARD FOR YOUNG PEOPLE
40 Students who had enrolled for International Award for
Young People have successfully completed the Bronze level award programme. They are involved in various activities and the mentors sign their record books which will be submitted to the head office in New Delhi.
Scouts and guide participated in camps organized at District Level. They have passed Sopan II & Sopan III and now they are preparing for Governor’s award. They also participate in rallies and help in creating awareness regarding social issues.
CBSE NATIONAL YOGA COMPETITION
Our yoga team comprising of 5 girls and 4 boys participated in CBSE National Yoga Competition. It was held at Mamta Modern Senior Secondary School, Vikaspuri, NewDelhi. Nearly 160 schools participated in this competition. Our yoga team had performed well and received certificate for participation.
The Second Alumni Meet of our school was held with great fervor and enthusiasm on
14th November2017 in commemoration with birth anniversary of Shri Aditya Vikram
Birla Ji, the role model for the young generation. Shri Vinay Bhalerao ji, Unit Head,
KCW was the Chief Guest of the programme. The function commenced by lamp
lighting and paying floral tribute to Shri Aditya Vikram Birla Ji. It was followed by the
prayer song sung by all the teachers and the students. The students of class XI and XII
presented a short cultural program comprised of songs, dance and skit. The alumni
shared their experiences and thanked their teachers for their guidance and support

The Chief Education Officer of The Aditya Birla Group Schools, Dr. S.
Ganguli visited the school on 20thFebruary, 2018. It was an official visit to
check the infrastructure of the school and also to look into the safety
measures adopted by the school
The students of our school participated in the National Level
Music Competition. It was held at Darshak Sanstha, Malviya
Nagar, Jaipur. Three students participated in Kishore Varg ( 13-
18 yrs.) Two students participated in Bal Varg ( 7 – 12 yrs.)Our
students had performed extremely well. In the Bal Varg, Aryan
Singh of class VI bagged I Position. In Kishore Varg, Suhani Singh
of Class VII bagged III Position.
The school Principal, Mr. Nurul Haque attended annual
general meeting at Chinar Public School, Alwar. The agenda
of the meeting was mainly on safety and security of students
in the school. Teachers from different schools were felicitated
for their dedication and commitment towards their service.
Mrs. SmithaVenu from our school has been awarded with the
Nation Builder Award on this occasion
Madam Pragnya , Group Executive President, Corporate Business and
CSR had visited the school along with Mr. Vinay Bhalerao ji, Unit Head,
KCW plant and Mr. G.R. Kapoor, Functional Head, HR, KCW Plant. They
were warmly welcomed in a traditional manner by the Principal, Mr.
Nurul Haque and teachers. She was shown a PPT about the functioning
of the school and about it’s achievement. She took a round and
interacted with the students of Pre- Primary wing. She was delighted to
see the work of students in the Art room. She appreciated our efforts.
