11th Annual Show
On our cover: Welcome to our 11th Berkshires Arts Festival
Richard & Joanna Rothbard
Randolph SanMillan’s work flows from his passion to create unique abstract designs that are thought provoking, always; political, sometimes. Emotional, sensual, and spatial ener-gies mingle to capture the essence of a concept in startling ways. His sculpture is more than a form; it is the crystallization of an idea.
Born and raised in Haiti, Randolph moved to New York at the age of 13. He works primarily in bronze and wood; however he also enjoys working with other mediums.
In spite of today’s economic challenges, artists still forge ahead looking for those events that continue to provide an audience that shows its appreciation and support year after year.
We are excited to see many new artists joining our show, especially in the painting category. If you are a first time guest here at Butternut, you will find that there is much to see and do.
Artists’ booths are located inside the air-con-ditioned upper lodge, in the lower lodge and outdoors and under tents as well. With almost 200 artists to visit, you will also have the opportunity to see “artists in action,” listen to some fine mu-sic, and enjoy excellent cuisine, wine & beer, and specialty foods.
Your hosts are Richard & Joanna Rothbard the founders of the festival and An American Craftsman Galleries. You will notice our entire roster of fairs includes the opening of two new shows in the Berkshires this year as well as the third edition of our NYC Art Fair at the Jacob Javits Center.
You will receive a Master Pass with your July show ticket which provides $2 off the admission to any of our upcoming 2012 events!
We hope you have a fabulous time.
Thank You for Coming,
