The donation, which supports the Milton District Hospital’s expansion project, is part of Magna’s commitment to support socially beneficial projects in communities where employees live and work. Magna’s corporate contribution philosophy and dedication to working with charitable organizations that share a goal of making a difference is fulfilled in their support for the hospital’s expansion project. Once complete, the newly expanded hospital will offer greater access to excellent healthcare for all Milton and area residents. “Milton is a key region for Magna as we have two major manufacturing facilities there,” said Mike Sinnaeve, Vice President of Operations. “In line with our philosophy that we help support the communities in which we operate, we are excited to contribute to the health and wellness of the Milton community and its surrounding areas.” Magna is a preferred global supplier partner for the automotive industry, delivering the best value built on innovative products and processes and World Class Manufacturing. Magna strives to be the employer of choice, an ethical and responsible corporate citizen and a superior long-term investment for all shareholders. The Our Home, Our Hospital Campaign is the most ambitious capital campaign the Milton District Hospital Foundation has undertaken. The Milton District Hospital expansion will add 330,000 square feet of space to the existing 125,000-square-foot hospital. Designed to address the needs of a growing number of users, the project will include expanded emergency, digital imaging, maternal newborn as well as surgical services. Milton District Hospital Foundation's Board Chair Brian Penman articulates the consensus among all those involved in the advancement of the expansion project in his comments: “Your substantial investment will help ensure the health and wellbeing of Milton families, friends and neighbours and Magna International employees who are vital to our community. Our inclusion among your leading philanthropic ventures is something for which we are deeply grateful and will do much to build awareness and encourage the Milton community to get involved.” On May 7th, 2015 the Orlando Corporation announced its support of the Milton District Hospital’s expansion project with the donation of a $5 million matching challenge to the Milton District Hospital Foundation’s Our Home, Our Hospital Campaign. Unprecedented in the history of Milton District Hospital Foundation, the $5 million matching challenge gift to Milton District Hospital’s expansion project is the largest gift ever received by the Foundation in support of the hospital. Orlando Corporation, established more than 75 years ago, is Canada’s largest privately owned industrial real estate developer and landlord. It specializes in the design, development and management of high-quality, prestige industrial, office and retail properties. Guided by a commitment to excellence, Orlando Corporation owns, leases and manages more than 40-million square feet of industrial, office and retail property. Inspired to encourage philanthropic leadership in the community, the Orlando Corporation Challenge will match all gifts of $100,000 or more to a maximum of $5 million. We are proud to announce that we have achieved $4.4 million of this goal as of publication date of this Annual Report. The Orlando Challenge has the potential to raise $10 million, and will kick start Milton’s $30-million multi- year capital campaign. These funds will be used to purchase equipment for the newly expanded hospital. Contributions from businesses such as Orlando Corporation, and the efforts of the Milton District Hospital Foundation, are vital to the success of the project. The Our Home, Our Hospital Campaign is the most ambitious capital campaign the Milton District Hospital Foundation has undertaken. The Milton District Hospital expansion will add 330,000 square feet of space to the existing 125,000-square-foot hospital. Designed to address the needs of all users, the project will focus on meeting the care needs of those living in Milton, the fastest-growing community in Canada. President of Orlando Corporation Phil King’s comments speak for themselves: “This gift represents our confidence in a truly great project that will provide community healthcare close to home for over 100,000 people who live and work in and around Milton. As Canada’s fastest growing community, we urgently need our local hospital to keep pace with that growth.” This is not the first time the Orlando Corporation has made a significant contribution to the Milton District Hospital Foundation. In July of 2007 Orlando Corporation announced a pledge to match each and every dollar up to $750,000 in support of the Foundation’s CT Scanner & Diagnostic Imaging Renewal Campaign, effectively enabling an increase to the initial campaign goal from $3.5 to $5 million. Back then, the Orlando Corporation’s pledge served to provide significant incentive to encourage donors to give even more generously. This latest matching gift is producing the same exciting results on an even larger scale, prompting donors to accept the challenge and confirm a substantial gift in support of the Milton District Hospital’s current expansion project. Denise Hardenne, President and CEO, Halton Healthcare Services expresses our heartfelt sentiments this way: “We are grateful to Orlando Corporation for their unprecedented gift to expand and enhance healthcare in Milton, and their leadership in encouraging the community to share in their support through their $5 million matching challenge. The impact of their challenge will leave a lasting legacy for generations.” Orlando Corporation’s extraordinary matching pledge initiative doubled their gift in 2007 and is well on its way to producing even greater results for our 2015 campaign. Orlando Corporation’s ongoing support for Milton District Hospital has the power to magnify its impact and is an example of philanthropy at its very best! Brian Penman, Board Chair, Milton District Hospital Foundation sums it up for all of us: Orlando Corporations generous matching challenge will inspire donors in the Milton community to double the impact of their gift; making a significant contribution to the success of the Our Home, Our Hospital Capital Campaign.Bradley Grant, Janet Skupsky, Denise Hardenne and Brian Penman touring hospital grounds with Phil King, President of Orlando Corporation. Orlando Corporation Donates $5 Million toMilton District Hospital Expansion

Unprecedented by any of our previous Gift of Health Galas, the

Moonlight Serenade Gala held at Rattlesnake Point Golf Club on

Saturday, May 30th, was a resounding success! Made possible by the

significant generosity and support of many committed individuals,

whose goal is to invest in healthcare at Milton District Hospital, our

signature event raised over $300,000 in support of the Our Home, Our

Hospital campaign, specifically to meet the equipment requirements to

outfit the expanded hospital.

Over 330 local community members, businesses and VIP’s gatheredtogether to support the Foundation’s mission to enhance qualityhealthcare in the growing Milton community.

From the moment our guests arrived, excitement about the start of

construction of the highly-anticipated hospital expansion project could

be felt in the room!

Guests were entertained in a romantic setting with a live performance by

the Milton Philharmonic Orchestra and serenaded by feature vocalist

Daniela Taurasi, dancer Elizabeth Kmiec, and the nostalgic strains of the

violin provided by the talented violinist, Pinto Grenville!

Master of Ceremonies, Peter Conteduca, kept the evening moving while

Patrick Doherty presided once again over our Live Auction, with great

success!

All in all, Moonlight Serenade is a night to be remembered, and more

importantly, to be repeated. Our Gala committee is already thinking

about themes for next year’s Gala…we hope you will plan to be there!

If anyone ever doubted the veracity of the adage “Seeing is Believing”, we can tellyou it is true! Everyone who comes to the hospital today realizes that constructionis underway and that the expansion of Milton District Hospital is happening now!Since early April, when heavy equipment moved in, the hospital grounds have beenturned into a bona fide construction site. Inside the hospital, the level of activity isequally high as our doctors and nurses continue the business of providinghealthcare to our community with excellence.

We are embarking on an exciting time for the hospital and the foundation, and wewant to stop for a moment and consider how we got to this point. It took a lot of hardwork and dedication on the part of many to visualize and plan for this project. Infact, it will take many more to follow in the footsteps of those who have alreadygenerously supported the Milton District Hospital expansion in word and deed. AsChair and Executive Director of the Milton District Hospital Foundation, Helen and Iwant to recognize and celebrate the tremendous generosity we have experiencedto date. It is this support that will allow us ourto go forward with confidence to fulfillcommitment to equip and furnish our soon to be expanded facility.

Recently, Phil King, President of Orlando Corporation joined Denise Hardenne, CEOHalton Healthcare Services, Janet Skupsky, COO Milton District Hospital and BradGrant, Co-Chair, Our Home Our Hospital Campaign Cabinet, Helen Vatistas and meon a hospital site visit where we shared our excitement on the progress of theconstruction. Orlando Corporation s recent announcement of a $5 million’

commitment represents the largest single gift ever to our Hospital. We are indeedgrateful to Phil and the Orlando executive for this significant gift. This is trulytransformational!

Thanks to the marvelous commitment and generosity of Miltonians, the good newscontinues and remarkable things are happening. In addition to the incrediblepacesetting support of Orlando, others have joined. At our recent Gala close to$7 million in corporate and individual donations to the hospital expansion wererepresented!

One of the donors, who make up a significant portion of the $17 million raised so far,is Magna International. Their gift of $3 million is one of the largest gifts MiltonDistrict Hospital has received and reflects Magna’s corporate philosophy ofinvolvement in the communities where their employees live and work.

Last spring the Foundation received a bequest from the Estate of Jayne Munro in theamount of $2 million. With this gift Dr. Ian and Jayne Munro planned to leave alasting legacy to impact healthcare in this community.

The good news continues with a gift from The Muslim Legacy Initiative, a group ledby Dr. Rabiya Azim and Azim Rizvee, who have collectively pledged a gift of$1 million. In addition, we are delighted to report that we have received quite anumber of other gifts at the leadership level, in support of the campaign.

We want to thank all our donors who have already given a corporate or individualdonation to the Our Home, Our Hospital Campaign. THANK YOU for making thehospital a priority in your life – you are truly philanthropists and your gift will makean impact.

We want to thank all those who are now considering a gift to the campaign andthose who will follow their example in the upcoming year. A well-equipped hospitalwith caring and skilled people, who go above and beyond, means the world to ourfamilies and patients. It is heart-warming and rewarding to learn again and againjust how much of a difference our hospital makes in people s lives. It will take the’

support of the entire community—corporations, businesses and individualsalike—to reach our goal!

Your generosity is the key to our hospital s success; the difference between good’

enough and great healthcare. This is what we will continue to work for, but we canonly do it with your help. Helen and I want to thank you from the bottom of our heartfor your continued concern and consideration! n

Jayne grew up in Ottawa, where she studied for a career in socialwork, and met Dr. Ian Munro who was then working for HealthCanada as Director of the Bureau of Chemical Safety andDirector General of the Food Directorate of the HealthProtection Branch. Together, Ian and Jayne endowed the Ian and JayneMunro Chair in Food Safety at McGill University in 2011, shortlybefore Ian passed away after a long battle with cancer. Jayneworked alongside Ian as a proud partner in his business andagricultural endeavours and also managed their farm andestate, Craigbyrne, the home on Derry Road to which they wereboth fondly attached.

At her passing in February of 2014, Jayne D. Munro’s last willbequeathed an awe-inspiring gift of $2 million to the MiltonDistrict Hospital, among other institutions. Oncecomplete, the newly expanded hospital will offer greateraccess to excellent healthcare for all Milton and arearesidents.

“Milton is a key region for Magna as we have two majormanufacturing facilities there,” said Mike Sinnaeve, VicePresident of Operations. “In line with our philosophythat we help support the communities in which weoperate, we are excited to contribute to the health andwellness of the Milton community and its surroundingareas.”

Magna is a preferred global supplier partner for theautomotive industry, delivering the best value built oninnovative products and processes and World ClassManufacturing. Magna strives to be the employer ofchoice, an ethical and responsible corporate citizen and asuperior long-term investment for all shareholders.

The Our Home, Our Hospital Campaign is the mostambitious capital campaign the Milton District HospitalFoundation has undertaken. The Milton District Hospitalexpansion will add 330,000 square feet of space to theexisting 125,000-square-foot hospital. Designed toaddress the needs of a growing number of users, theproject will include expanded emergency, digitalimaging, maternal newborn as well as surgical services.

Milton District Hospital Foundation's Board Chair BrianPenman articulates the consensus among all thoseinvolved in the advancement of the expansion project inhis comments: “Your substantial investment will helpensure the health and wellbeing of Milton families, friends and neighbours and Magna Internationalemployees who are vital to our community. Our inclusionamong your leading philanthropic ventures is somethingfor which we are deeply grateful and will do much tobuild awareness and encourage the Milton community toget involved.”

O n M a y 7 t h , 2 0 1 5 t h e O r l a n d oCorporation announced its support of theMilton District Hospital’s expansionproject with the donation of a $5 millionmatching challenge to the Milton DistrictHospital Foundation’s Our Home, OurHospital Campaign.

Unprecedented in the history of MiltonDistrict Hospital Foundation, the$5 million matching challenge gift toMilton District Hospital’s expansionproject is the largest gift ever received bythe Foundation in support of the hospital.

Orlando Corporation, established morethan 75 years ago, is Canada’s largestprivately owned industrial real estatedeveloper and landlord. It specializes int h e d e s i g n , d e v e l o p m e n t a n dmanagement of high-quality, prestigeindustrial, office and retail properties.Guided by a commitment to excellence,Orlando Corporation owns, leases andmanages more than 40-million squarefeet of industrial, office and retailproperty.

Inspired to encourage philanthropic leadership in the community, the Orlando Corporation Challenge willmatch all gifts of $100,000 or more to a maximum of $5 million. We are proud to announce that we haveachieved $4.4 million of this goal as of publication date of this Annual Report.

The Orlando Challenge has the potential to raise $10 million, and will kick start Milton’s $30-million multi-year capital campaign. These funds will be used to purchase equipment for the newly expanded hospital.Contributions from businesses such as Orlando Corporation, and the efforts of the Milton District HospitalFoundation, are vital to the success of the project.

The Our Home, Our Hospital Campaign is the most ambitious capital campaign the Milton District HospitalFoundation has undertaken. The Milton District Hospital expansion will add 330,000 square feet of space tothe existing 125,000-square-foot hospital. Designed to address the needs of all users, the project will focuson meeting the care needs of those living in Milton, the fastest-growing community in Canada.

President of Orlando Corporation Phil King’s comments speak for themselves: “This gift represents ourconfidence in a truly great project that will provide community healthcare close to home for over 100,000people who live and work in and around Milton. As Canada’s fastest growing community, we urgently needour local hospital to keep pace with that growth.”

This is not the first time the Orlando Corporation has made a significant contribution to the Milton DistrictHospital Foundation. In July of 2007 Orlando Corporation announced a pledge to match each and everydollar up to $750,000 in support of the Foundation’s CT Scanner & Diagnostic Imaging Renewal Campaign, effectively enabling an increase to the initial campaign goal from $3.5 to $5 million. Back then, the OrlandoCorporation’s pledge served to provide significant incentive to encourage donors to give even moregenerously.

This latest matching gift is producing the same exciting results on an even larger scale, prompting donors toaccept the challenge and confirm a substantial gift in support of the Milton District Hospital’s currentexpansion project.

Denise Hardenne, President and CEO, Halton Healthcare Services expresses our heartfelt sentiments thisway: “We are grateful to Orlando Corporation for their unprecedented gift to expand and enhancehealthcare in Milton, and their leadership in encouraging the community to share in their support throughtheir $5 million matching challenge. The impact of their challenge will leave a lasting legacy forgenerations.”

Orlando Corporation’s extraordinary matching pledge initiative doubled their gift in 2007 and is well onits way to producing even greater results for our 2015 campaign. Orlando Corporation’s ongoingsupport for Milton District Hospital has the power to magnify its impact and is an example ofphilanthropy at its very best! Brian Penman, Board Chair, Milton District HospitalFoundation sums it up for all of us: “Orlando Corporation’s generous matchingchallenge will inspire donors in the Milton community to double theimpact of their gift; making a significant contribution to thesuccess of the Our Home, Our HospitalCapital Campaign.”

Our Gala committee is already thinking

about themes for next year’s Gala…we hope you will plan to be there! n
