    Corrective Action Preventive Action

    1. Unlock BCF/ BTS/ TRX from Software. 1. Engineer should take care while locking and unlocking BCF/ BTS/

    TRX.

    1.Check the settings at the BSC.

    2.Check the cable connected to the Interface

    Module.

    3.Check the unit connected to the external alarm

    line.

    4.If all of the above are OK, check the Interface

    Module and replace it if faulty.

    1. Engineer should clear those alarm after integration of site.

    1.Replace all faulty power units.

    More than one power unit is broken, or there is

    only one power unit in the configuration.

    1. Ensure the LED indication on power card before switching it ON. If its

    is RED then there is fault in Power Card Itself, If it is Orange Then there

    is no fault in Power card.

    only one power unit in the configuration.

    1. check the Input Voltage and check the polarity before switching ON

    the Power Card.

    1.Replace the BOI. 1. check the back panal pins and back panal of BOI card for any

    damage.

    1. for syncronization always switch ON the Slave BTS first and then the

    Master BTS. If the Problem persist replace the BOI.

    1.Ensure that the ambient temperature of the

    1. Before Integration of BTS make sure there is proper vantelation and

    AC should work properly. 2. Also make sure the proper working of

    Cabinet Fans.

    and follow the instructions given for the active

    alarm(s). If necessary, replace all faulty units

    indicated in the active alarm(s).

    1. Always give Soft Reset first if this problem arises.

    1.Ensure that the ambient temperature of the

    base station is within specified limits.

    2.Check the cabinet fans.

    3.Replace the faulty power unit(s).

    1.Ensure that the ambient temperature of the

    base station is within specified limits.

    2.Check the cabinet fans.

    3.Replace the faulty transmission unit.

    1.Check the cabling.

    2.If the cabling is OK, replace the BOI.

    1 Trainning given to all our Engineers on use of FREQUENCY

    COUNTER, to aliminate this alarm.

    1.Replace the BOI.

    1.Check the SISU cabinet and the connection.

    1.Check whether one or several of the following

    alarms are active:

    7606 TRX FAULTY

    7603 BTS FAULTY

    7607 TRX OPERATION DEGRADED

    7604 BTS OPERATION DEGRADED

    and follow the instructions given for the active

    alarm(s).

    1. Tighten the SMA connectors on the hardware installed on the BTS

    and then reset the OMU of that BCF.

    1.Ensure that the ambient temperature of thebase station is within specified limits.

    2.Check the cabinet heater if it is installed.

    3.Replace the BOI.

    1.Ensure that the ambient temperature of the

    base station is within specified limits.

    2.Check the cabinet heater if it is installed.

    3.Replace the power unit.

    1.Ensure that the ambient temperature of the

    base station is within specified limits.

    antenna or cabling are faulty, replace the faulty

    units and reset TRX to cancel the alarm.

    2.If the antenna and cabling are OK, the TSxx is

    faulty. Replace the faulty TSxx.
