God gave us a blank cheque with this statement “call unto Me and I will answer.....”
Who is this God? In Genesis 1:1, He is known by His name GOD, Supreme and Sovereign.
In Genesis 2:4, He is known by the name LORD GOD, the Creator of the Heavens and earth. In Genesis 14:18, He is known as the MOST HIGH GOD. The Deliverer of His own from the hands of their enemies.
He introduced Himself to Abraham in Genesis 17:1 as The Almighty God (El-Shaddai) the God that is more than enough. His desire is for us to walk before Him with perfection of heart.
In Genesis 21:33, He is known as THE EVERLASTING GOD, the God that is ever living. He introduced Himself to Moses as THE I AM. In Exodus 3:14 when He was ready to deliver
the children of Israel from slavery in Egypt. In Exodus 34:14, He is known as a JEALOUS GOD. He will not permit His children to worship
another god or any foreign god. In Deuteronomy 33:27, He is known as THE ETERNAL GOD.
He is our refuge and underneath are the everlasting arms that will crush your enemies. In Joshua 3:10, He is known as THE LIVING GOD. Not a dead one, but ever living.
In Psalm 80:7, He is known as THE GOD OF HOSTS. The One in charge of all hosts in heaven and on earth and underneath the earth. In Jeremiah 32:18, He is known as THE MIGHTY GOD.
In Matthew 6:26, He is known as the HEAVENLY FATHER. He knows your needs more than yourself.
In Jonah 1:9, He is known as THE GOD OF HEAVEN, the Maker of land and sea.
In 1 Timothy 1:17, He is known as THE KING ETERNAL.
In James 1:17, He is known as THE FATHER OF LIGHTS. There is no darkness in Him nor shadow of turning.
What are His natural attributes? Eternal, Omnipresent, Omnipotent, Omniscience, Wise, Incomparable, Invisible, Unchangeable,
Unequal to anyone else, Infinite, and Unsearchable. What are His moral attributes?
Holiness, Justice, Love, Mercy, Truth, Goodness and Impartial. So brethren, you can see that the God with all these attributes will do exactly what He has promised in His Word to do.
He gave us an assurance that when we call upon Him, He will answer. From all indications, we know Him to do exactly that.
Those who call on Him have always received the answers to their petitions. He is more than enough to answer our prayers.
God will not only answer, but He will show you great and mighty things which you do not know. Are you not grateful that we have a Father we can call unto anytime, any day and He will
answer? We serve a God that answers prayers.
Having answers to our prayers is an evidence of a loving Father. This God is a relational God. He wants to relate to us as Father to a child (daughter or son).
All we have to do is call upon Him and it is His promise to answer.

We have seen various examples in the scriptures where God has answered prayers.
Our responsibility is to get to know this God and relate to Him as a loving Father. How do we know that God answers prayers?
He gave us an assurance to call unto Him and He will answer us. It is His promise to answer our prayers.
Good examples are Joshua, Moses, Nehemiah, Hannah and Esther. Joshua commanded the sun and moon to stand still and it was so for a whole day, because he
was fighting the battle that needs completion on that day - Joshua 10:12-13. God harkened to the voice of man.
Hannah called upon Him in her darkest hour and she got her miracle child -1 Samuel 1:9-17. She prayed before the Lord at Shiloh and made a vow that she kept with God, and the Lord
answered her prayer. Elijah on Mount Carmen prayed and the Lord answered by fire -1 Kings 18:30-39. The God of fire responded by fire and the people made a great confession that THE LORD, HE
IS GOD.
God prevailed over strange gods on that day.
The woman with the issue of blood called upon Him and she received her healing - Matthew 9:20-22.
The Canaanite woman called on Him for the deliverance of her daughter and she eventually got her requests - Matthew 15:22-28.
Gideon called on God and got an answer - Judges 6:36-40. Gideon prayed asking God to prove that He is the one sending him on assignment and God
answered him. The same God is still alive today and when we call upon Him, He will answer us as He has answered the people of old.
How do I know He will answer my prayers? He has promised to do so, and He is faithful to keep all His promises. Isaiah 65:24
Jeremiah 33:3 John 14:13-14
John 16:24 These and many more passages in the scripture points to the fact that we have a Father who has
our best interest at heart. It is clearly evident that when we call upon Him, He will answer us, provided we meet His
conditions. What are these conditions?
Ask in the name of Jesus and not in any other name - John 14:13-14. Call on Him in truth - Psalm 145:18.
Come to Him with a pure and sincere heart. - Matthew 5:8, James 4:8. Have no other god beside Him - Matthew 6:33.
Hold no one in the prison of your heart in un-forgiveness - Matthew 5:23-26. Run from all manner of sins and sinful habits - Isaiah 59:1-2. Ask in faith - Hebrews 11:6.
Do not be double-minded or a doubter, as such will not receive anything from Him - James 1:8. We have an assurance that when we call on Him, He will answer us.
He is our Father. He loves us just as He loves Jesus Christ His Son.
Prayer: God will hear and answer our prayers this month and beyond, in Jesus name.

1. This year there will be less fire outbreaks but there will be more floods.
2. There will be misunderstandings among nation but no major wars.
3. Pray against assassination attempts globally.
4. There will be record breaking temperatures both high and low.
5. There will be a handful of breakthroughs both scientific and medical.
6. The countdown to the end has started.
THE REDEEMED CHRISTIAN CHURCH OF GOD:
1. A lot of us will sing of the mercies of the lord
2. Many of us will triumph over those that wants us down.
3. Both faithfulness and unfaithfulness would be speedily and vigorously rewarded.
4. Countdown to Judgement and harvest begins.
5. Countdown to comprehensive victory begins for many.
