Executive Board?

I decided to apply to AIESEC EAN executive Board
and especially to LCP because I know that it is the kind
of experience that allows me to develop a lot of
competencies and skills which are going to
complement my personal and professional level and
performance, also this experience is going to support
the achievement of all my goals. But the most
important and strong reason that I decided to apply is
that I want to be part of an exceptional group of leaders
who will build a local committee of high performance,
where day after day its members have excellent Dual
AIESEC experiences and as a result we can
contribute in a positive way in the improvement of our
society.
Why do you think AIESEC Strategy is “Product
Leadership”?
Currently the greatest concern for any organization is to
add value, to the main objective of being unique,
significant, credible and reliable to its customers. This
only can be possible if the organization has a clear
segmentation of its market, differentiator factors to their
competitors and a truly positioning of the brand, off
course, all these things have to be aligned with the
vision, goals and objectives of the organization.
Is because of all this things that, the implementation of
Product Leadership Strategy is so important. In
AIESEC, where its core product is the AIESEC
EXPERIENCE, each stakeholder customize their own
experiences through the global learning environments,
exchange experiences and leadership experiences;
Our concern is to give them high quality experiences,
aligned with the AIESEC WAY and AIESEC 2015
concepts, in order to become the first choice of
Leadership Organization. For that reason we have to
standardize and understand the organization processes
and strategies adapted to the reality of AIESEC in all
countries and local committees by educating the market
about our product and building a strong and reputable
brand that will attract more people and organizations
every day to AIESEC. This will increase our
performance as organization and the relevance at an
external environment, making our objective to be
achieved.

What do you think should be the National Focus Areas for
AIESEC in Colombia in 2011? Please argument your answer.

•AIESEC in Colombia to supporttheir goals should be aware of the
generation and focusing of itsstrategies have to be in TN raising,
excellent recruiment of ST& LT members thus generated finance
sustainability which allows supportthe high quality of @XP. besides
focusing in the development of themembership and promoting the
Dual @XP.

•To improve the quality of theexperiences and the performance especially of the organization must
focus on creating internationalcooperation in MT & TT pool as a
priority and in order to increase thevolunme of X generated cooperationfor DT /ET pool based on projects toICX side. Also because we have toimprove the delivery time espcially
in the match of our EPs
International Cooperation
•if we must work on a clear strategy forpositioning in the external market wewill be able to support the TN raising, recruitments, brand recognition and relevancy. in the same way we must
also work on a clear strategy topositioning @in Colombia in side @
network in order to facilitateinternational cooperation to get
especially the match or our EP's & TN's providing in this way the bestdelivery time related with the High
Quality experience for eachstakeholder.

AIESEC was born at the end of the world war II by a
group of young leaders that were tired of the conflict
between countries and the way that they solved it in this
time; AIESEC believes that we can make a change
happen by making young people explore and develop
their potential through:
•Leadership opportunities
•Exchanges opportunities
•and global learning environments
that allows to them the chance to understand and be
aware about the different realities between countries,
cultures and professional backgrounds of the other
citizen of the world and be capable to manage conflict
situation in the best way and work with them in order to
achieve a common goal: Peace and fulfillment of the
human kind through making a positive impact on society;
also believes that all this thinks are going to prevent
mistakes that happened in the past to happen again in the
future.

AIESEC is an organization that is constantly
growing in order to achieve its mission, is why in
the statements of AIESEC 2015 we can evidence
the need to involve with the external environment
and positioning there in the right way in order to be
recognize for our maturity, reliability and high
quality leadership in the development of all projects
undertake with other organizations and inside our
organization, so we can ensure the evidence of
positive impact on society by our change agents.
Another key aspect is BHAG a management
strategy that seeks in a clear, simply and
encourages way to engage, focus and aligned our
members in order to achieve our vision through the
empowerment, development and emotional
connection of the personal and professional goal

AIESEC is an organization that
has as a mission made a
positive impact on society but
in the third sector (it is a
phenomenon located between
society, politics & the economy,
that holds the most immediate
social needs; in which are
private non profit organizations
& non state, who play roles
very diverse as: human rights,
production of goods & services
or the resources redistribution )
we are not generating the
impact with the magnets that
should be. In this way I think
that we can identified, diversify
and focus on issues in the
currently society in global and
national level in order to
improve our organization
performance creating
strategies to stimulate and
develop IB@XP based on this
new focus.

existed for 52 years in
Colombia and has a mission

external environment have not
achieved yet the necessary
importance or relevance on it,
which is why we need to start
to make us notice through
partnerships with private and
government entities generating
activities, events and projects
together and in this moment
AIESEC is going to be
recognize for its excellent
performance and essence not
only by its allies but also by
other organization. But is not
only in the business or
government sector that we
want to be positioned, also we
have to be positioned in the
universities and in students
market , in this way we will

Professionalism

develops young people,

everything we do, we

ies MEMBERSHIP DEVELOPMENT:AIESEC EAN needs to be focus on the development
of its membership focus on promote Dual @XP in order to
deliver high quality @XP and increase its performance .
SMART APPORACH: we have to understand the magnets of been positioning in the
mind of our target audiences as a serious and high quality
organization in order to capitalize the trends, opportunities and
weakness of our external environment has to get benefits that
helps to the organization vision and goals making a real and

•Implementation of the Local Development program in order to increase the quality of the
XP of each member.
•Improve induction and allocation process to obtain 90% of retention rate.

relevant activities

EB: all EB members have to be aware the trends in the market in order to take
advantage of it. Also we are able to train our members and build smart relationship
with the external market and also inside of AIESEC.
ICX IMPROVEMENT GENERATING DUAL @XP: in order to get more financial sustainability and deliver High Quality
Dual @XP, we have to understand the relevance of ICX area in the LC.

•M&C – ICX: working together in order to identified the 3 main Alcaldias Locales de Bogota
than can be potential points of projects.
•M&C: promote inside the LC the new project focus and the benefits that it brings to the
membership that decided are part of them.
Positioning the projects at the network in order to get interest in other LCs and facilitated the
international Cooperation.
•ICX:
• TN raising strategy based on Increase the number of call per week in order to obtain a
higher volume of appointments. Also prepared and support the members with low sell
experiences when they go on a date at the same way develop the best confident sellers of
AIESEC in Colombia.
•Create a product sheet for each focus project:
•Cadenas Productivas Localidades de Bogota (MT/TT/ET): this is a good opportunities to
diversify our TN takers and the pool of our internships, because this project is going to be
focus on Pymes that have one of these issues: interest in internationalization or internal
processes improvement. The idea is generate a cluster with maximum 4 pymes that want to
invest in a Trainee in order to be more successful and get better in the issue that they have in
common.
•Education program with Localidades de Bogota (DT/ET): this is a big opportunity
because this government entities destiny a lot of money in this programs, what we look to
establish there in a project based in 3 main issues that the young people has specially in the
poorest places in the city: Sexual Education, Bilingualism and leadership development based
in a career plan.
•ICX-TM-F&A: work together to identify the best Project Manager or Coordinator involve in
this strategy to give them a 50% off discount in its EP form to go on exchange in 2011.
•International Cooperation Coordination (OGX-ICX): Establish international cooperation in
order to supply the exchanges generated with the projects.
•F&A:
Invest in a data base.
Improve servicing processes to get the best International Experiences
Design a discount on the EP form of the Project manager or Coordinator to incentive the
Dual XP program.
•TM:
Creating Job Description that ensures the project manager or coordinators wants to go on
exchange this year and know that if is the better can go on exchange with a 50% off discount
on its EP form.
Improve in the follow up and reintegration of our currently EPs in order to involve them
in this strategy and increase the satisfaction of them with the organization services.
•OGX:
Improve the delivery time to Project managers or coordinator that wants to go on exchange
and identified the best choices of internship for tem based in their profile and career
plan for this especially point has to work with TM
