General Announcements:
Arrival: We are so happy that each week our arrival and dismissal is getting smoother. Thank you all for
your patience and cooperation as we work through these procedures together. As a
friendly reminder, only students are to exit the cars in the front loop. If a child cannot get out
of the car independently, then please find a parking spot in our lot or on the street and walk them to campus. This will help expedite getting all our students onto campus in a timely manner.
Make-up Picture Day: On May 3rd, we will have make-up pictures for
students that were not able to get their pictures taken for the yearbook in the fall. They will take place outside the MPR. Please click HERE to sign up for a time slot. The sign-up sheet will also be
on our website.
Got Talent? We will be hosting a virtual talent show in the
month of May. Please see the attached flyer for additional information and video submission
guidelines.
Buchanan’s Virtual GOT TALENT!
If you have star power and would like to showcase your talent, please submit a video of your talent onto the Blazer News submission page the week of May 11th-14th. There are a limited number of performance spots available, and judges will determine which acts will be a part of the show. Video Submission Guidelines:
Audition submissions are due the week of May 11th-14th. Acts must be 1 1/2 minutes or less. We will need to know what music you are using along with the lyrics either printed or emailed to [email protected] Make sure your act is appropriate for elementary school kids. (G-rated, no inappropriate language, clothing or subject matter etc.) If you are chosen, we will notify you via email. Live virtual show will be held on Friday May 28th, 2021 Practice, practice, practice!
