Harvest Time Child Development Center and Christian School are ministries of Harvest Time Family Worship Center. At Harvest Time we take our job of caring for and educating children very seriously. We also value the strong reputation we have built in this community for taking great care of families. It has been our privilege to serve the greater Tampa Bay area for over 30 years in the care and educational process of their children. Our mission and purpose is to assist parents in providing a safe, loving environment, along with a sound educational foundation for their children in a Christ-centered environment. Our center specializes in teaching phonics using the Abeka curriculum and its techniques preparing our three, four and five year olds to read. We continue with the Abeka curriculum through the sixth grade. Our seventh and eighth grade students are currently using the Alpha Omega “Switched-On” curricu-lum. We will be working with individual families to provide Alpha Omega for students beyond the eighth grade. We feel that middle and high school students need a strong background in the use of technology to be able to succeed at the college level. Our school faculty has over 50 years of combined educa-tional experience. We offer small classes for a more differenti-ated instruction as well as small group and individual tutoring for our McKay Scholarship students. We also offer School Readi-ness and Step Up for students who qualify. Before and after school programs are available for all our school age students as well and we are excited to be offering VPK in the fall of 2011.
