We welcome you to the 4th newsletter of the EnterSchool- Mind project. This project aims to cultivate the entrepre- neurial mindset in elementary schools through a holistic ap- proach targeting teachers and pupils. This newsletter provides a progress update. About the project Overview of IO6 - Assessment of Teachers IO6 involved creating an assessment tool for the teachers’ Entrepre- neurial Assessment. This was to be used to assess the competenc- es of teachers in Entre- preneurial mind-set. The consortium needed to develop one assess- ment tool for each of the competences, cul- minating in 8 small as- sessment tools in total. The structure of the assessment was creat- ed in accordance with the certification scheme for assessment (IO3), and included a mix of multiple choice questions, scenario based multiple choice questions and a longer case study question to assess the knowledge, skills and competences of the teachers who undertook the teacher training in IO5. The partners responsi- ble for the 8 compe- tences: MMC, Dimitra, Rinova and FH Jo- anneum designed a pool of questions and case studies. organised dates with

the CCC for the teach-

Once each partner developed the

assessment for their competenc-

es the assessment content was

translated into all the languages

of the consortium. MMC, FH Jo-

anneum and 15billionebp led the

translation of the assessment

materials.

The Cyprus Certification Compa-

ny led the certification of the

teachers’ entrepreneurial assess-

ment tool. Certification was com-

pleted in

The assessments took place in

March 2021 over Zoom. Teach-

ers taking the assessments

joined a zoom call, showed their

ID and logged into Moodle to

complete the assessments. The

CCC oversaw and invigilated the

assessments in real time over

Zoom.

certification scheme (IO4). This

included developing all the docu-

ments for assessment registra-

tion and examiners documents.

MMC designed a train the master

examiner workshop and trained

4 examiners from the consorti-

um.

15billionebp pilot tested 3 com-

petences in the UK: Working

with Others, Motivation & Perse-

verance, and Self-Awareness &

Self-Efficacy.

7 teachers took part in online

assessments for the 3 compe-

tences.

Feedback was positive across all

countries that the assessment

met it’s aims and adequately as-

sessed the learning from each

competence.

CCC in collaboration with MMC pilot

tested assessments for 8 competences:

Coping with uncertainty, creativity, self-

awareness & self-efficacy, motivation &

perseverance, planning & management,

sustainable and ethical thinking, work-

ing with others and learning through

experience. Teachers from Apostolos

Varnavas Primary School as well as

teachers from other schools all over

Cyprus participated in the assessment.

7 teachers from the 4th Primary School of Tyrna-

vos were assessed on 3 competencies: creativity,

working with others and learning through experi-

ence.

FH Joanneum pilot tested 3 competenc-

es: Learning through experience, Creativ-

ity and Working with others.

They pilot tested the assessments with 3

teachers.
