• The problem, likely, will not be the database. The problem will be getting people to understand and interact with the database in constructive ways.
• A web driven database will refuse to think outside of a Logic Model, so if the staff is not prepared for this type of thinking, it can be threatening.

Review the Improvement Activities within the SPP/APR• Is there an effective system in place for evaluation of
outputs? • Do the outputs include: Who collects the data? When the
data is collected?

Does the Data Reveal: • Data about level of involvement• Number of participants involved• Actual number of individuals
changing• Percent change in enrollment or
participation• Actual numerical change in
enrollment or participation• Calculation of cost/benefit ratio• Data about knowledge, attitude,

The Benefits…Again!• A database starts here, with the smallest piece
of quantifiable, measurable, valid, reliable data, and builds.
• Pretests, posttests, surveys, essays can all be generated from this point, and this data can be pre-slugged with verbiage to become the rough draft of annual performance reports, progress reports, etc.
