Aromatherapy - The Essential Oils – Lily – Massage Therapist -

Massage: Do not exceed 6 drops within 10ml of carrier oil. Bath: add 5-10 drops. Inhalation: 5-8 drops in a bowl of boiled water. Burner: add 5 -8 drops and add water. Compress: add 5-10 drops in a small ball of warm water. Pillow: sprinkle 1-2 drops.
Top Note essential oils are the most volatile. They have a sharp aroma and highly Stimulating effect. They are absorbed by the skin very quickly, last on the skin about 24 hours. They are obtained by Citrus fruits.
Middle Note essential oils are moderately volatile and last on the skin for about 2-3 days. Middle note are usually obtained from flower and herbs.
Base Note essential oils are known as fixative. They have the slowest evaporation rate and last for about 7 days. Base note are obtained from woods and resins.
