A few weeks later she had to have surgery again because the lung was not attaching and was leaking. She spent about three and a half weeks in the hospital. She was diagnosed with a tumor on the base of her brain on Sept. 6 and underwent surgery to have the tumor removed, but because of her treatments she cannot work and has no means of income. Brant was fortunate enough to work for a few months before the brain tumor was diagnosed, but since then has not been able to. A bank account has been set up at the Bank of Colorado in the name of Delphine Brant Cancer Fund to help her with her living expenses. Brenda Bradley is also selling Avon products with the proceeds going to Delphine. She can be reached at 571-0951 to place an order. On Nov. 24, at 12:30 p.m. there will be a dinner at the First Baptist Church. Enjoy chili, cinnamon rolls and chicken noodle soup for a minimum suggested donation. Brant fundraisers set
