Systems, including roof and door modules, and access and motion control systems

and ease, reduce source costs and timing, and because we test for systems integration,

Roof modules will revolutionize the

modern automotive assembly line process.

ArvinMeritor’s newly developed product

range of roof modules includes the

headliner and the roof “skin” made from

composite, plastic, steel or aluminum with

or without a sunroof.

This development allows the integration

of parts such as grab handles, sunvisors,

ventilation systems, interior lighting and

antennae into the roof itself.

This new approach to car roof design

is particularly appealing to vehicle

manufacturers because the car interior is

fully accessible from the roof opening. In

the past, interior assembly and installation

were restricted solely to the window and

door openings.

We can supply a wide variety of roof

modules and if necessary, just-in-time and

in-line sequence. For example, modules

can be supplied with spoiler, canvas-top,

T-top or sliding/tilting sunroofs.

We manufacture sunroof products,

including multi-panel, sliding and tilting,

spoiler and canvas-top models. These

feature both power and manually operated

control capability and provide special

functions such as anti-squeeze and

virtually every North American OEM. The

company manufactures coil springs,

stablizer bars and torsion bars. It has

produced more than 100 million coil

springs in the past ten years.
