• In 2008, B2C E-Commerce sales in Japan accounted for 4.5% of total retail sales, up from 4.0% in 2007.

• E-Commerce growth in South Korea is higher than expected - projected to be more than KRW 20 trillion (about USD 17 billion) in 2009.

• In 2009, the number of Internet users in China increased to 384 million, representing 29% of the population.

• Leading Indian B2C E-Commerce players are Rediff Shopping, LG Ezbuy, Indiatimes Shopping, Yahoo India Shopping and Indiaplaza.
