Astra Agricultural Company Ltd., was established in 1988 and led to thefoundation of ASTRACHEM in 1995 as a natural expansion ofan integrated company engaged in development, testing, registration,marketing, sale and distribution of high quality Agrochemicals, Fertilizers,Seeds and Agricultural inputs and related products.
Headquartered in Dammam 2nd Industrial City with two production sites inEast Cost of Saudi Arabia. It is comprised of a well established local andregional network of sales and distribution centres, as well as fielddemonstration and testing sites. The company represents, and distributesproducts of many multinational companies in Saudi Arabia, Turkey, MiddleEast, North Africa and Central Asia region.
ASTRACHEM has developed a number of specific products which areunique. Calciphite, Calbit and Dozer. ASTRACHEM obtains full patentprotection on its products and applies for registration of the products in allof the countries into which it intends to export its products.

● The Company scaled up largest granular production in the Middle East, a step that led to its emergence
as a reliable local provider of granular fertilizers in the market
● The Company enjoyed a stronger presence in different markets like Turkey, Algeria, Oman, Egypt and
Morocco and holder of many registrations with high reputed products.
● Improvement processes were started within various production lines to increase the level of
automation.
● Continuous research and developmental work, large number of products were developed, to be

● Large focus on Bio-Pesticides. Company is expected to be the largest distributor of Bio-Pesticides by

● The seed sector was enhanced through developing trial stations. The first trial station, located in Al
