Which of the following categories best describes your employment status?

The majority of my audience are students. To appeal to this audience, I could use a star around the same age, as they can act as an opinion leader. This is and example of two-step theory, which explains that an audience consumes a text because they trust the star/opinion leader. Nearly 30% of my audience are working part-time and 9% work full-time. So this could mean, they don’t have time to read magazines. I could make my magazine’s content available on other media platforms to target a wider audience. This is an example of audience segmentation.
