We have a busy month this month as we celebrate the children’s accomplishments who are leaving KELC and heading to Kindergarten and prepare for another school year. We are sad to see families leave and hope you will stay in contact with us and come and visit sometimes! Our preschool graduation is Friday, August 16 th at 4 pm in the Auditorium. Please mark your calendars and come and join us for a time of celebration and refreshments. We also have our annual Ice Cream Social Thursday, August 15 th from 6-8 pm. Come join us for free ice cream and music. September KELC Update: Starting September 1 st some changes taking place at KELC: • We will now be open till 6 pm • Our AM Learning program is Monday thru Thursday Intergenerational News: During the summer we have been meeting informally with our resident friends Friday afternoons in the garden. The children have enjoyed being outside when the weather has allowed with the residents. Our application to receive certification from Nature Explore to certify our play yard as an outdoor classroom has been sent and we are waiting to hear if our application was approved. We have added some fun things so stop out and see them when you pick up your child.
