Dept. of Science & Technology (DST), Govt. of India. The

main objective of the centre is to provide world class

training and applied research in the eld of Automation

& Robotics. This is the rst centre of its kind in the country

focused on Automation & Robotics.The CORE is being established at AKGEC with support

from Industry Partners known as technology leaders in

increasing demand for higher plant productivity has

made the Industrial Automation and Robotics as an

emerging eld for students, teachers and researchers.

Industrial Automation & Robotics is the multidisciplinary

eld, that is involved in the process of designing,

creation and maintenance of robots, programming of

logic controllers and design of pneumatic & hydraulic

circuits which includes electronics, mechanical and

computer science engineering whose blend is called

Automation & Robotics.
