Room Overview
The TV, conference phone system, and web camera (for use with the Room
PC only) are controlled using the Crestron Wireless Touch Panel (Figure A).
When not in use, the panel should be in the charging dock located on the
window sill.
Pick up the Crestron panel from the dock to make the Welcome screen
appear (Figure B). Press anywhere on the panel to access the Home screen.
The Home screen (Figure C) is where you select which source displays on the
TV, as well an additional screen to adjust volume and access the controls for
the conference phone.
Power on the TV During a session, the TV first powers on after the ClickShare, Room PC, HDMI,
or VGA source is selected at the Home screen.
After a period of inactivity, the Crestron panel will enter sleep mode and the
screen will go black. Simply press the screen to wake the panel up.
Available Sources
Presentations are run from the computer located behind the TV (Room PC) or
from a laptop connected wirelessly (ClickShare) or wired (HDMI or VGA).
At any point, you can press the BACK button (Figure D) in the upper right
corner of a source screen to return to the Crestron panel’s Home screen.
Volume Control
Volume adjustments can be made using the buttons in the audio control
section at the bottom of most screens on the Crestron panel (see image
below). The label for this section will change based on the source selected.
Controls for adjusting phone call volume and muting the microphones are
available on the Phone Conference screen; see page 11 for more information.

Display the Room PC on the TV
1. Pick up the Crestron Wireless Touch Panel (Figure A) from the charging dock to make the Welcome screen appear. Press anywhere on the panel to access the Home screen.
2. Turn on the computer, located behind the left hand side of the TV, by pressing the ( POWER button (Figure B). If the ( POWER button is lit then the computer is already powered on.
3. At the Crestron’s Home screen press the Room PC button (Figure C). The TV will power on and display the computer image.
4. The computer is controlled using a wireless keyboard and mouse. Power switches are on the bottom of each device (Figure D). Turn on both and log into the computer.
5. Volume adjustments can be made using the buttons on the Room PC Volume section of the Crestron’s Room PC Selected screen (see image below).
At any point, you can press the BACK button in the upper right corner to
return to the Crestron panel’s Home screen.

Web Conferencing in the Boardroom
The HuddleCam USB web camera and phone conferencing system can be
used with web conferencing software (Zoom) running on the room PC.
Refer to Page 3 of this guide for information on the use of the Room PC.
Control the Web Camera Camera controls (pan/tilt and zoom) and preset buttons are on the left-side
of the Room PC Selected screen (see image below).
Make a Call with the Conference Phone System Refer to Page 11 of this guide for information on the use of the conference
phone system to make a phone call.
Use the Microphone Array as a USB Audio Device (Zoom) In addition to using the conference phone system to make calls, the
microphone array (Figure B) is also connected to the Room PC and is usable
as a USB microphone for use with Zoom.
After joining or starting a meeting, click “Join Audio Conference by Computer”
to connect the Room PC’s speaker and microphone to the Zoom meeting.
What are the Room PC’s speaker and microphone settings?
The Room PC should be set to use the SHARP HDMI (Intel(R) Display Audio)
as the speaker/playback device and the Microphone (2- Converge USB) as the
microphone/recording device.

Power off the Equipment (Room PC & TV)
Room PC
If you used the room’s computer make sure that you either shutdown or sign
out of (in the case another meeting is about to occur) the computer.
SHUTDOWN: Open the Start Menu, click on the l Power button,
and then click Shut down (Figure A).
SIGN OUT: Open the Start Menu, click on the User button , and
then click Sign out (Figure B).
Make sure that the wireless keyboard and wireless mouse are both turned
off (Figure C) and returned to the back table.
Crestron Touch Panel
1. Press the red Power Off? button (Figure D), located in the lower left corner of the Crestron panel, to display the Power off the system? screen.
2. Press the - Yes - Power Off button (Figure E) to power down the TV.
3. Return the Crestron panel to the charging dock (see image below) located in the back corner of the room on the window sill to ensure it’s charged for the next user. The panel will chime and a battery icon will display to indicate it’s properly docked and charging.

What if I pressed Power Off by accident?
If you pressed the Power Off? button by accident simply press the - NO -
Cancel button to continue use of the system.

Display a Laptop Wirelessly via ClickShare on the TV
1. Pick up the Crestron Wireless Touch Panel (Figure A) from the charging
dock to make the Welcome screen appear. Press anywhere on the panel
to access the Home screen.
2. At the Crestron’s Home screen press the Clickshare button (Figure B). The
TV will power on and display the Clickshare.
3. Remove a ClickShare Button from the holder (Figure C) and plug it into an available USB port on the laptop. The LED ring will flash white.
4. Using the appropriate application based on your operating system
(Windows Explorer for Windows or Finder for Mac), browse to and double-click the ClickShare drive on the laptop.
5. Double-click on the ClickShare application (see images below).
6. The ClickShare client software starts and its icon appears in the system tray.

When the system is ready for use, a “Ready to share” message appears close to the system tray icon. The LED ring on the ClickShare Button should now be lit solid white.
7. Press the ClickShare Button (Figure D) to display the laptop image on the
TV. The LED ring should now be lit solid red.
6. To stop sharing, simply press the ClickShare Button again. The LED ring will go from solid red back to solid white.
7. Volume adjustments can be made using the buttons on the ClickShare Volume section of the Crestron’s ClickShare Selected screen.
At any point, you can press the BACK button in the upper right corner to return to the Crestron panel’s home screen.

Power off the Equipment (ClickShare & TV)

If you used the room’s ClickShare make sure that you disconnect the
ClickShare buttons and return them to holder (Figure A) on the table in the
back corner of the room.
Crestron Touch Panel
1. Press the red Power Off? button (Figure B), located in the lower left corner of the Crestron panel, to display the Power off the system? screen.
2. Press the - Yes - Power Off button (Figure C) to power down the TV.
3. Return the Crestron panel to the charging dock (Figure D) located in the back corner of the room on the window sill to ensure it’s charged for the next user. The panel will chime and a battery icon will display to indicate it’s properly docked and charging.
What if I pressed Power Off by accident?
If you pressed the Power Off? button by accident simply press the - NO -
Cancel button to continue use of the system.

Display a Laptop via HDMI cable on the TV
The HDMI cable is located near the side table in the back corner of the room
(Figure A) and connects to a wall plate next to that table (Figure B).
Adapters are provided to connect laptops that do not have a HDMI port; DVI,
DisplayPort, Mini DisplayPort, Mini HDMI, and Micro HDMI adapters are
available (Figure A).
1. Pick up the Crestron Wireless Touch Panel (Figure C) from the charging
dock to make the Welcome screen appear. Press anywhere on the panel
to access the Home screen.
2. Plug the HDMI cable into your laptop’s HDMI port (Figure D).
3. At the Crestron’s Home screen press the HDMI button (Figure E) to
display the laptop image on the TV.
4. Volume adjustments can be made using the buttons on the HDMI
Volume section of the Crestron’s HDMI Selected screen (see image
below).
Don’t see the laptop image on the TV?
Make sure your laptop is powered on.
Make sure your laptop is set to appear on a secondary display.
o Windows: Press the Windows logo key + P until Duplicate is
selected.
o Mac OS: Click on Displays in System Preferences and then click
on the Arrangement tab. Click on the Mirror Displays checkbox.
At any point, you can press the BACK button in the upper right corner to
return to the Crestron panel’s home screen.

Display a Laptop via VGA cable on the TV
The wall plate for connecting a VGA cable is located near the side table in the
back corner of the room (Figure A). A VGA cable can be obtained by
contacting the Help Desk at ext. 4330.
1. Pick up the Crestron Wireless Touch Panel (Figure B) from the charging
dock to make the Welcome screen appear. Press anywhere on the panel
to access the Home screen.
2. Plug one end of the VGA cable into the COMPUTER port on the wall plate
(Figure A).
3. Plug the other end of into your laptop’s VGA port (Figure C).
4. At the Crestron’s Home screen press the VGA button (Figure D) to display
the laptop image on the TV.
5. Volume adjustments can be made using the buttons on the VGA Volume
section of the Crestron’s VGA Selected screen (see image below).
Don’t see the laptop image on the TV?
Make sure your laptop is powered on.
Make sure your laptop is set to appear on a secondary display.

Power off the Equipment (Laptop & TV)
Laptop
If you used your own laptop make sure to disconnect either the HDMI or
VGA cable you used to connect it for display on the TV.
Make sure to take your laptop’s power supply, if used, with you when
leaving the room.
Crestron Touch Panel

2. Press the - Yes - Power Off button (Figure B) to power down the TV.

Make a Call with the Conference Phone System
1. Pick up the Crestron Wireless Touch Panel (Figure A) from the charging dock to make the “Welcome” screen appear. Simply press anywhere on the panel to access the home screen (Figure B).
2. On the Crestron panel press the Phone button on the home screen (Figure C) to access the “Phone Conference” screen.
3. To make a call, simply enter the number using the onscreen keypad and
then press the green Dial button; be sure to dial an “8” first when dialing an off campus phone number.
How do I know if a call is in progress? A green dot (live call indicator) will appear to the right of the phone number when a call is in progress (see image below). 4. Incoming call volume adjustments can be made using the buttons under
the Privacy and Incoming Call Volume sections on the left-side of the Crestron’s Phone Conference screen (see image below).
5. When finished with a call, simply press the red End Call button to hang up.
Microphone Note: The status of the room microphones can be
determined by looking at the ceiling microphone unit itself (blue LED =
mics are on, red LED = mics are muted) or under the Privacy section on
the Phone Conference screen (green = mics are on, red = mics are muted).
At any point, you can press the X button in the upper right corner to
return to the Crestron panel’s home screen.

2. Press the X button (Figure B) in the upper right corner to close the
Phone Conference screen.
3. Press the red Power Off? button, located in the lower left corner of the Crestron panel, to display the “Power off the system?” screen.
4. Press the - Yes - Power Off to power down the TV.
5. Return the Crestron panel to the charging dock (Figure A) located in the back corner of the room on the window sill to ensure it’s charged for the next user. The panel will chime and a battery icon will display to indicate it’s properly docked and charging.
