1. If I were to categorize AIESEC as a par-cular type of food, I don’t think I would be able to choose from the many different cuisines or the many types of dishes there are in each cuisine, primarily because I wouldn’t be able to give jusce to the 110 countries where AIESEC is present in. So ininstead, I would say that AIESEC is like a buffet. You have your Italian food, your Chinese food, your Filipino food, etc. You have all these opons laid out for you and it’s up to you to fill your plate with the things you want to learn and experience. No can tell you what to choose, its up to yyou to customize your own experience. You can fill it with team management skills, me management skills, business strategies, friends, internaonal intern-ships, etc. You can be as diverse as you want or as specific as you wish but at the end of the day, whatever you choose will not snot sasfy your appete for learning. You’ll have to go back for a second round to make the most of your buffet. AIESEC is the internaonal plaorm for young people to explore and develop their po-tenal.

2. There are many AIESECers all over the world who have fallen in love with this orga-nizaon, with its people, its culture and its vision. My love for the organizaon and my experiences in AIESEC are not any greater or any more different than the next AIESECer. Each AIESECer has his or her own story to ttell, maybe longer than mine, maybe shorter, but all products of the opportunies we have chosen for ourselves.

3. I joined AIESEC because I wanted to be part of the most presgious internaonal, student run organizaon. I hardly knew what I was ge ng myself into. I had no idea what the extent of its network could do and the quality of its experiences could provide. I stayed because every single day, AIESEC as-ttounds me with new knowledge and new ex-periences. I learn something new everyday, whether it’s managing my team, learning business strategies, or even learning about the state of Egypt from the point of view of an Egypan himself

4. The best thing about AIESEC is that it is full of possibilies. There are almost limitless opportunies that you can choose from to customize your own experience. Through AIESEC, I’ve learned and put man-agement principles into pracce.Through AIESEC’s network, I’ve rubbed elbows with the likes of Anthony Pangilinan, Tony Cailao, Kidlat Tahimik, Senator Kiko Pangilinan, and Vince Perez.

Because of AIESEC, I’ve joined and won 2nd place in an inter naonal business compe on in Beijing despite not having a busi ness background (Asian Students Venture Forum).

Step 3: Promote the org’s events by spamming the walls of your Face-book friends.

One of the many ways to show your love and support for your org is by promong its events. Spend the whole night reposng the event’s

pubmat on the walls of all your Facebook friends. Some may consider un-friending you, but that is just a ny risk to take as compared to the gra-fying feeling of being able to do at least this to help the org that you love.

Step 4. Frequently lose your voice by cheering for JPIA and for your com-miee.

You all do a whole lot of crazy things for your orgs, regardless if you are sll applicants, already members, or at long last part of your org’s alumni. I remember a part of our hell week where we pretended that those les surrounding the Academic Oval were tombstones of our departed loved ones. People passing by thought we were crazy for mourning by the les and for shoung nonsense to the heavens. These fun, crazy things don’t just end at your app process, they only get beer and become more fre-quequent once you are a member. In JPIA, as cliché as this may sound, every-thing is more fun. It’s more fun to lose your voice during the org’s events, cheering for your teams and projects. It’s more fun to put down your walls and simply be yourself, knowing that everyone would accept you for who you really are. Maybe the most liberang thing that I have done in this org is unleashing my true self, or it’s possible that I was only able to do that

now because in JPIA, I have found myself.

Step 5. Maintain your grades.YYou would not be able to join any student organizaon if you were not a student in the first place. This is the reality that everyone has to face aer an org event that lasted unl 3:00 AM, or aer spending your week-end playing sports and games for your org. Exams and cases may make us cry somemes, but we could always feel beer by mourning them

with our orgmates. ;)

While looking for a quote that would best describe how I feel about JPIA, I stumbled upon this one: Having a place to go – is a home. Having someone to love – is a family. Having both – is a blessing. I may sll be halfway through my college life, but I’m prey sure that I have already figured out how to make the most out of it. I’m lucky enough to have found a family thfamily that would do the most mental things to and for each other in this organizaon. However, I am most fortunate to realize that I have found my home

in JPIA.

JPIA, one, two, three!

J-J-JJ-J-J-J-P-I-AWoooh!

Love for UP JFA1. I’d say, it’s dessert. Pagkatapos kasi ng kahit anong meal, hahanap-hanapin mo yung sweetness ng dessert na kukumpleto sa araw mo.

2. I wouldn’t say that my love for the org is greater than any 2. I wouldn’t say that my love for the org is greater than any other JFAer’s. But I make sure that my love translates to actions. In the big things and the little things I do for the org, I make sure that I deliver the best. And because I love what I’m doing, I enjoy everything. This, for me, is the embodiment of love for JFA: work and play in one.

3. Honestly, I applied for JFA because of peer pressure. My 3. Honestly, I applied for JFA because of peer pressure. My friends said they were going to join the org and since I didn’t want to be left out (clingy!), I decided to join too. I became attached to the members and to the org; and now, yes, I can still imagine my life without JFA. But it couldn’t even be called life at all. (cheesy)

4. Potentials. There is no limit to the talent of the members. 4. Potentials. There is no limit to the talent of the members. There are a lot of programs and projects that JFA can offer. And there is so much to learn from being part of these. The possibili-ties are endless.

5. Setting aside acads for the org. I know that being a student comes first before being a member of an org and as such, I should prioritize acads over extra-curriculars. But doing something for the org one loves and working with people who also love the org is more fulfilling than hours of studying.

1. Sweet and Sour fish : Because org life is a perfect mix of happiness and chal-lenges. And just like in that dish, there are a lot of factors that affect the over-all taste of staying in an org. Furthermore, fish is my favorite, just like IBA.

2. Maybe because they think I can say enough about love… which I do not ac-tually believe.. I don’t really know… haha :) <3

3. I remember applying for IBA with that desire of joining an org with various chapters all over NCR. Also, for me it was new for an org to actually have a thrust that advocates business excellence and social responsibility in a perfect balance. That aspect of actually caring for other members of the society made me more attached to the org. For me, it is only reasonable that I give back to the society with the fact that I’m about to finish my tertiary education now with my scholarships financed by different NPOs.

4. IBA gave me a lot of problems that made time management extra difficult 4. IBA gave me a lot of problems that made time management extra difficult these past years. It always has a way to ruin my study habit, or even made it impossible to develop any study habit at all. But amazingly, it has a way of always making me choose to stay and actually exceed my limit. It made me re-alize that there’s more to learning than just passing your exams, and that most of the time, you’ll learn the best things through firsthand experience. And I’m pretty sure I can use the skills I learned from IBA in the corporate world.

5. Cutting classes for org work… Crying a lot of times due to org problems.. doing a lot of stupid things.. then actually finding myself staying with IBA.

1. Chicken Breast! It may look very predictable at first sight, but when you take the first bite, you can’t stop be-cause of the packed nutrients and energy that will con-tinuously motivate you to face the day with a happy and healthy outlook towards life.

2. I guess it's because he was always part of council in my entire stay in BAC and indeed, he is the one who has truly illustrated and embodied the “true love” that he has passed on to me and each and every council member. His dedication and commitment were the elements that in-spired me to love the council even more.

3. Because this is where you get to work personally with 25 different but very promising individuals for one whole year, align each other’s vision and work together for the beerment of the entire college.

4. The indescribable feeling of organizing events that cre-ates life-changing experiences and unforgeable memories for the students and the entire college.

5. Going to Binondo, Manila and geing 2 41-inch LED televisions. together with 2 television stands, bringing them all to UP and carrying them one by one to the college. But it was all worth it!
