Overview of the AmericanRecovery and Reinvestment Act
• The ARRA provides $787 billion over the next 10 years
• Most of the spending will occur over the next two years
• The ARRA includes• $48 billion for job training and education• $100 billion for transportation and infrastructure• $20 billion in tax incentives for renewable energy• $41 billion for energy-related projects

Register Your Organization
• In order to register, your organization must have a DUNS Number provided by Dunand Bradstreet and a tax identification number.
• If you do not have a DUNS number, one can be received within 24 hours here
• After receiving a DUNS number, you must register with the Central ContractRegistry (CCR) by supplying some statistical information about yourorganization. Once CCR registration is approved, you can create a username andpassword with Operational Research Consultants (OCR), Grants.gov’s credentialservice provider. A username and password can be created here
• You can now enter and open an account at Grants.gov using the username andpassword received from OCR.
