add to the list, please email [email protected].
All names that have been placed until now will be removed.
What do you do if you have almost 70 children registered to be supervised, taught, and
cared for on Rosh Hashanah morning and the staff which you hired doesn’t show
up? You could lock the doors and tell parent’s unfortunately the program is
cancelled. Or you could do it the Ner Tamid way and have an army of volunteers pitch
in, give up their opportunity to be part of the service and make it seem easy. This is the
Ner Tamid High Holiday Youth Program 2016 Chesed Crew (composed of adults
and students); Eliana Albert, Chana Rivka Altman, Danna Banks, Lauren Banks, Lynn
Bendicoff, Gabrielle Burger, Chris Gaither, Danna Goldberg, Lauren Goldberg, Ayelet
Hamburger, Deborah Hamburger, Elan Hamburger, Eliav Hamburger, Sarai Kashnow,
Marina Klaff, Sofia Klaff, Bridgette Larson, Laura Larson, Ella Lipira, Naomi Maine,
Rachelle Smith-Maine, Zachary Maine, Ora Noorani, Michael Noorani, Caycee Polun,
Eliana Polun, David Schwartz, Elan Seiden, Eitan Shar, Rachel Shar, Rina Shar, Ari
Spokony, Chaya Spokony, and Andrew Unger.
Thank you all for your dedication. There was more than one hug and tear shed over
this beautiful outpouring of love. (FYI, We have contracted with another service so we
should not have this issue on Yom Kippur). Shana Tova

Upcoming Events
The Lil' Sisterhood was created 3 years ago . Our goal is to empower our young girls as future leaders and the creative life force of Ner Tamid’s future generation.
The Lil’ Sisterhood engages young girls’ 5-12 (4 with parent staying ) ) creative and imaginative energies in exciting new ways , strengthening their Jewish identity. Special crafts projects related to the Chagim, family celebrations, chesed and Shul events will not only heighten their participation, but provide them with a sense of pride and accomplishment. The group meets monthly , usually Sunday mornings . The Lil' Sisterhood is open to all daughters and granddaughters of Ner Tamid Sisterhood members in good standing. (Membership dues are presently $36 a year.)
