Want to learn a fun, new dance style in 2015? Join us at MACLA for this unique opportunity to learn Bachata, a sophisticated and fast-paced dance which originated in the Dominican Republic. This introductory class includes basic footwork and timing to get you comfortable with open and closed Bachata styles. This is a great class for both experienced and new dancers... All you need is to enjoy the music! BACHATA WORKSHOP David Sanchez is a professional dance teacher and performer, with specialities in several styles of Salsa and classic Bachata. Previously, he used to dance with JAS Dance, a well known Latin and ballroom dance school in Santa Rosa. He brings to this class a relaxed, fun style of teaching, a plus for those who are dancing Bachata for the first time.
