After the core courses, you choose one of these strands to specialize in, or focus on game development, our newest specialization path. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology

As a student in the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology program, you’ll build a robust theoretical

foundation—and acquire hands-on, practical learning—in core IT fields: networking, databases and software development,

web development, and system administration. After the core courses, you choose one of these strands to specialize in, or

focus on game development, our newest specialization path. With a strong faculty mentoring system and small-sized

classes, you’ll get individual attention to your needs and the opportunities to develop your particular talents and

strengths.

Acquire a solid foundation in core IT fields and then choose from one of five strands to specialize in:

• Mobile application development

• Web development

• Game development

• Network administration

• Systems administration

Get a head start on your career… while you’re studying!

As a student in the program you will have the chance to:

• Acquire skills in the leading operating systems, server and network equipment that are commonly found in companies throughout Greece and Europe. Get hands-on experience in specialized labs for Cisco, Apple, Linux, IBM and Microsoft products

• Earn internationally recognized professional certifications from leading vendors such as Microsoft (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate - MCSA) and Cisco (Cisco Certified Network Associate – CCNA)

• Complement your hard-core IT competencies with the soft skills that the workplace demands, such as written and oral communications, project management, and critical reasoning

• Take advantage of internship opportunities with start-up firms and other companies

• Develop a portfolio of apps and other projects you’ve done during your studies that you can show to a future employer

• Do your senior Capstone project with multinational firms and IT companies
