The editors invite the submission of methodological and substantive articles devoted to the application of other
disciplines and branches of learning to research in history without limit of geographical bound or chronological period.
The Journal of Interdisciplinary History also publishes re- search notes, which generally introduce or discuss meth-
odological innovations new to writing in history, review articles, and reviews. TheJournal tries to review books of
importance to the growth of history and historical re-
search, whether published originally as history, or as psy- chology, political science, sociology, anthropology, nu- mismatics, and so on. From time to time the Journal includes short bibliographical notes on topics of impor- tance to historians.and other social scientists.
Manuscripts should be submitted in two copies, a ribbon
copy being sent to the editorial office of the Journal of Interdisciplinary History, Tufts University, 26 Winthrop St., Medford, MA 02I55. A second copy should go to Prof. T. K. Rabb, History Dept., Princeton University, Prince- ton, N.J. 08544. The text and footnotes should be typed double-spaced and the footnotes placed at the end of the text. The ribbon copy should be accompanied by postage to cover the return of the manuscript if it is not accepted. Only rarely will theJournal accept an article that is appre- ciably more than thirty typed pages. Papers are considered with the understanding that they have not been published and are not under consideration elsewhere.
