Maxflow valves are available with a wide variety of seat and MOC combination to suit specific needs of customers.
Fire Safe Feature
Maxflow provides Fire safe feature in ballvalves. An integral metal lip in the body andthe configuration of the soft seat are designedto prevent the softening downstream seatfrom being forced into the port in the ballmoves and rests against the lip, forming a metal to metal seat, thus restricting the leakage to levels specified by fire safe standard API 607.
TFM Seat
MAXFLOW uses seat of special grade of PTFEi.e. TFM 1600 with better design feature whichwill improve the quality of seat. TFM 1600 havingfeatures of reduced cold flow, substantiallyreduced deformation under load, lower porosityand permeability due to denser polymer structure and lower void content, improved stress recovery, particularly at elevated temperature, smoother surface, excellent non stick and dielectric property, higher elastic modulus, improved flexibility.
Direct Mounting ISO PAD
Maxflow offers feature of ISO 5211 PADwith all range to mount actuator directly onvalves without any additional bracket in thecase of automated valves. ISO PAD will bewith drilled and tapped holes suitable for mounting pneumatic actuators. The flanges are conforms to ISO 5211.
Live Loading
The valve stem is live loaded with the help ofdisc springs and ‘V’ pack to achieve continuepressure on stem sealing. As it is disc spring,pressure on ‘V’ seal will be adjustedautomatically to keep required continuepressure for sealing and also maintain lower torque as friction produced by sealing is under control. This will also reduces manual efforts to maintain gland adjustment time to time.
BODY ADAPTOR JOINT
Large bolt ensures better joint integrity andzero gap between body and body adaptorjoint ensures consistent torque.
Larger & Mirror Finished Stainless Steel BALL
SS ball are manufactured to very closespherocity tolerances and are mirror finishedwith this bubble better sealing andconsiderably lower operating torque.
Blow-Out Proof Stem
Stem inserted inside the body and integralshoulder on the stem sits against integralshoulder in the body, thereby making it blowout proof. This design feature offers safetysuperior to top-entry stem design where the line pressure works to break the stem seating.
Robust Construction
Maxflow offers with Robust construction whichwill be suitable for all type of process lines and application. This is also helps feasibility ofautomation and lower maintenance requirement.
Cavity Pressure Relief
Maxflow provides all two piece valves with builtin cavity relief seat design. Due to thermalexpansion of the line fluid, there will be overpressure in the ball cavity and cavity pressurerelief will prevents the same. The feature willhelp to use in applications involving volatile line fluids. In principle when cavity pressure builds up and reaches a certain magnitude, it causes the seat lip to move away from the ball relieving the pressure. Once the pressure has relieved, the seat lip returns until the pressure builds up again. All valves have a hole connecting the ball port and the body cavity to prevent build up of trapped cavity pressure when the valves is in open position.
Antistatic Features
Due to constant friction between ball andseat, static electricity can occur. This canbe a potential fire hazard, especially whilehandling inflammable fluids. All MaxflowBall valves are having inbuilt antistatic features. This is achieved using Carbon-filled PTFE stem seal and graphite gland packing to provide electrical continuity between the body and stem/ball , discharging any build-up of static charge. In addition, spring loaded plungers between the stem and body for full mechanical antistatic capability.
V-PACK On Stem
stem seal consist of stack of V packing forimproved sealing at lower stem torque.O rings provided for sealing againstfugitive emission. Stem OD is superfinished by burnishing to achieve better sealing and lower stem friction torque.
Gland Plate Can Access Without Removing Actuator
Maxflow offers feature of accessing glandplate without disturbing mounting meanshandle, actuator and electric actuator etc.In case of any maintenance required in process pipelines, which reduces human efforts and also gives flexibility to end user who can save time during maintenance.
