WINNING WAYS: Tillman logged a career-high tying seven-game winning streak from June 5-

August 17, 2015…During the 12-start stretch in which Tillman did not lose, the right-hander went

7-0 with a 3.47 ERA (27 ER/70.0 IP) and eight Quality Starts, while the Orioles went 9-3 in those

games…His seven wins in that span ranked tied for fifth in the AL.

HAND IN THE TILL: He came within one out of a complete game in the Orioles 2-0 home win

over the Braves, July 29, 2015...In his previous two outings, he allowed one hit in 8.0 scoreless

innings (July 18, 2015 at Detroit) and two hits and one run over 7.0 innings (July 24, 2015 at

Tampa Bay)...According to the Elias Sports Bureau, the only other Orioles pitchers to go at least

7.0 innings while allowing four or fewer hits and one or fewer runs in three straight starts (since

1954) are LHP Steve Barber (August 1965), RHP Jim Palmer (April 1977), and LHP Erik Bedard

(July 2007).

ONE HIT WONDER: The Birds’ victory over the Tigers on July 18, 2015 was the first one-hitter

for the Orioles since September 28, 2012 when Tillman and LHP Troy Patton combined to hold

the Red Sox to one hit in a 9-1 win at Oriole Park…It also marked the 44th game in club history in

which the Orioles pitching staff surrendered one or fewer hits and marked the first game in which

the Birds have held an opponent to one hit in a shutout victory since June 16, 2012 when RHP

Jason Hammel tossed a complete game in a 5-0 win over the Atlanta Braves…According to the

Elias Sports Bureau, Tillman is the only Orioles pitcher since the franchise moved to Baltimore in

1954 to surrender a hit to the opposition’s leadoff batter and finish at least 8.0 innings without

surrendering another hit, accomplishing the feat twice (also, September 28, 2012).

FINISHING STRONG: Posted a season-high five consecutive starts with at least 100 pitches

from September 12-October 4, 2015 (season finale)…In that span, he went 2-0 with a 4.25 ERA

(14 ER/29.2 IP)…His career-high for consecutive outings with 100 or more pitches was a 15-game

stretch, July 6-September 24, 2013.

AT ORIOLE PARK: Is 2-0 with a 1.80 ERA (4 ER/20.0 IP) in four home starts this season…In
