This two-day symposium will combine detailed lectures, live demonstration workshop as well as supervised hands-on-dissection on human cadavers. The purpose of this CME is to bring together surgeons performing facial aesthetic surgery to enhance their surgical skills and advance this growing field.
The emphasis will be on “hands on” experience with step-by-step explanation of several techniques by our experienced speakers.
Our intention will be to teach delegates ( especially residents/fellows) the basic surgical techniques, understand the facial anatomy, know the danger zones of the face to improve safety and efficacy when they perform such procedures in their practice.

Prof. Dr Nazim Cerkes is one of the world’s leading Plastic Surgeons in Rhinoplasty and Facial Surgery. Dr. Cerkes has been past President of Turkish Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, between 2009-2012 and the Education Council Chair of ISAPS between 2010-2014. He is now Ist Vice President ISAPS and has been organizing Rhinoplasty and Live Demonstration Workshop every year in Istanbul. Dr Cerkes is currently the President of “ The Rhinoplasty Society of Europe”. Instruments designed by him are produced in California with “Dr Cerkes Open Rhinoplasty Set” brand, used by plastic surgeons worldwide. Prof. Cerkes has a chapter titled “ Support of the nasal tip with Cartilage” in Dallas Rhinoplasty Book.
Every year many plastic surgeons all over the world visit him to observe his techniques. He will be joining us for 1st ever Facial Aesthetic Cadaver Course in India to share his knowledge and strengthen our basics in Rhinoplasty.

M. S. Ramaiah Advanced Learning Center established during early part of this year has under its banner multiple units , all set with the purpose of stimulating minds and encouraging Research and Training.
The units include, a State of art, one of its kind Surgical Skills Lab, which is a part of the Center’s efforts towards supporting the education and training of students as well as Qualified Professionals. This Cadaveric Research and Training unit has been developed with the intention to provide opportunity to learn in a “Operation theater” like atmosphere and a ‘near life’ like specimen to work on.
This center is open to Individual Surgeons, the Industry for their implant validation programmes and their Training workshops as well as other Institutions and Health centers to conduct training programmes for their students and staff .
To facilitate the Skill lab, the center also boasts of a technically well equipped Multi media center which can accommodate around 100 people .This room is audio visually connected to not only the Surgical skill lab but also to their Operation theaters , enabling them to beam surgeries on to its screens. The multi media center also has videoconferencing facilities.
