Our 5th Annual Summit will take place from 15-18 November 2015 at the Eastin Grand Hotel Sathorn in Bangkok. The hotel is centrally located in the Sathorn business district, just minutes from the world famous Chao Praya River and a short drive via the nearby expressway to Suvarnabhumi International Airport. It also has its own direct access to the BTS Sky Train system at Surasak Station literally bringing the city to your doorstep. The meeting is officially supported by the Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau.

Representatives from all major world markets are expected at our conference which will consist of a 5th Anniversary Gala Dinner with entertainment, 1-2-1 Business Meetings, Guest Speaker, Case

Studies, plus an exciting Quiz Night with a Thai Buffet and all drinks included! With over 15 years experience of organising international freight conferences, PCN management are aware that face-to-face meetings are integral in developing and maintaining business. Our newly improved online Meeting Manager system enables each delegate to schedule over 30 individual business meetings before they arrive.

We are delighted that Thai Airways International PCL is the Official Carrier of our meeting and have provided an event code so that delegates can obtain a special fare when travelling on Thai Airways to attend our summit.

5TH ANNIVERSARY GALA DINNERAt 19:00 we will gather to collect name badges, meet fellow delegates and enjoy a Welcome Reception before settling down to celebrate our 5th Anniversary with a Gala Dinner with fantastic entertainment including a dramatic Drum Show, Body Balance/Cirque Show, Modern Muay Thai Performance, Cabaret Show and a Hip Hop Dance Show. Then evening will end, as always, with our annual disco. We aim to include as much in our Registration Fee as possible in order to keep each delegate’s expenses to an absolute minimum, so the evening also includes beer, house wine, vodka, gin, rum, whiskey, soft drinks and juice.

QUIZ NIGHT & THAI BUFFETOur last evening together will be lots of fun and a chance to unwind with new and old friends after a busy day in the meeting room. The entertainment will include a quiz, compered by Steve, who many delegates will remember from our team building session in 2013! You will also be able to challenge your fellow PCN Members to a game on our specially hired pool tables and ping pong tables. INTERACTIVE HEAVY TRANSPORT SESSIONOur Interactive Heavy Transport Session will be presented by an industry expert, with the aim of raising awareness on topics that cause the majority of accidents in the heavy transport business. Our Guest Speaker, Marco J. van Daal has over 20 years’ experience extending to more than 55 countries on 5 continents. He is author of the heavy transport textbook The Art of Heavy Transport in addition to being a contributing member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and the European

Association of Abnormal Road Transport and Mobile Crane (ESTA). The International

Cranes & Specialized Transport magazine frequently publishes his articles. All

delegates will receive a certificate after

the session has finished.

Upon receipt of your Registration Form, we will email you a link to the hotel booking system so that you can reserve your room directly with Eastin Grand Hotel Sathorn at our special group rate. If you would like to bring your spouse or partner with you, they can join us for the Gala Dinner on Sunday and Quiz Night on Monday for US $220. Please note that Business Partners attending our 1-2-1 Meetings will need to pay the full rate of US $790. The Registration Fee is non-refundable. However, you may change the name of your representative at any time.

VISA REQUIREMENTSAs requirements will vary from nation to nation, we would suggest that you contact the local Thai Embassy within your own country or a travel agent specialising in visa applications. CASE STUDIESAn opportunity for Members to learn from each other’s experience via case study presentations. The 10 minute case studies will include an introduction of the commodity including weight and volume; an outline of the steps taken for the client and the mode of transport; description of challenges and how they were overcome; an explanation of costs and pricing and an analysis on the final results. As well as the audience gaining knowledge, this session enables Members to promote their company by presenting an effective, memorable case study.

1-2-1 MEETINGSAll registered delegates gain access to our online Meeting Manager program, developed especially for PCN so that 20-minute business meetings can be arranged prior to arrival. Each scheduled meeting is assigned a table number so that the changeover between each 1-2-1 session runs smoothly. Each delegate has a personal log-in so that they can access their Agenda and book, cancel or make a period of time unavailable 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our delegates are completely in charge of their own schedule.
