– We were able to donated $1.4 million to local charities from our 2015 event!

2016 - Venue Background

Bethpage State Park – Black Course

• Bethpage Black has played host to numerous professional golf events including the 2002 &

2009 U.S. Opens and The Barclays 2012. Bethpage Black will also play host the 2019 PGA

Championship and the Ryder Cup in 2024!

• Even though Bethpage Black is one of the few public golf course that professional golf

events are contested at, it has proven to be one of the best championship venues in the

world!

• Bethpage Black ranks #9 on Golf Digest Greatest Public Golf Courses in the United States

and ranks #42 on Golf Digest America’s 100 Greatest Golf Courses.

Glen Oaks Country Club

• The Glen Oaks Club, a 27-hole facility in Old Westbury, NY, with an expansive clubhouse,

tennis courts and an Olympic-size swimming pool, is regarded as one of the Met Area’s most

elite clubs.

• Glen Oaks Country Club was recently awarded the Met Golf Writers Association, Club of

the Year Award. This award is presented to a Metropolitan-area club for upholding the spirit

and traditions of golf through energetic support and constant dedication to the game.

• In addition to hosting numerous community and charity events, Glen Oaks has also hosted

countless Championships and qualifiers for local golf associations including the MGA,

USGA, LIGA and the Metropolitan PGA. In 2016, Glen Oaks will host the 101st Met Open
