May 4, 2017Dear Future AP Human Geography Students:
I hope you have had a great 8th grade year, and I am looking forward to having you in class next year. I have attached a review that you can work on over the summer in preparation for your first map test. Please note that there is not a required summer assignment for AP Human Geography, and this test review will not be turned in for a grade.
Please feel free to email me if you have questions about the map test review.
Sincerely,
Katherine Cantu

Note: My current AP Human Geography students said it would have been helpful for them to purchase Ethel Wood’s AP Human Geography: A Study Guide, 3 rd Edition over the summer. It will help with reading the textbook, and is great preparation for the AP exam next May. This is not a requirement, but a suggestion. Her book can be purchased at http://www.amazon.com/AP-Human-Geography-Study-Guide/dp/0983176663 for $14.10.
