You can create different sized Diorama Cards without a tutorial once you learn the basic components of the Diorama card.

You will need a total of 3 card stock (front cover, back cover, center)

The height of all 3 card stock will all be the same

The width of two of the card stock (back and front cover of the Diorama card) willmeasure 2” longer than the 3rd (center) card stock

To determine the width of your card stock when cutting them, first decide how wide you want your Diorama card to be then add 4 inches. For example my sample Diorama card measures 5 x 7”. The 7” is the width. When determing the cutting measurements of my front and back cover, I added 4” to the desired width of my Diorama card and cut my front and back covers at 5 x 11”. (7 + 4”).

To determine the measurement of the center card stock, deduct 2” from the width of the front and back cover. For example, as stated above, I cut the width of my front and back cover to measure 5 x 11”, to determine the measurement of the center card stock; I deducted 2” from the width of the front and back cover; therefore, I cut the center card stock 5 x 9” (11 – 2”).

When scoring the front and back cover (longer pieces), regardless of the width of your Diorama card, you will score 2” on the left and right side of the front and back cover.

When scoring the center card stock, you will always score 1” to the left and right side of the center card stock regardless of the width of your Diorama card.

The back cover will always fold forward as shown in the picture. If you want to add designer paper to the back cover, measure the width and height of the cover in between the folds. This will determine the cutting measurement of your designer paper.

Adhere the designer paper to the center of the back cover. Adding designer paper is not necessary. Design the back cover as desired.

For the front cover, if you want to add designer paper, adhere it to the center before cutting the window. Cut a shape to the front center of your cover to create a window

using a shape die or template. Again, adding designer paper is not necessary. Design the front cover as desired.

When cutting the shape of the center window, place the center card stock (shorter piece) to the back of the front cover and align the score lines of the front cover and center cover so they match up. This will insure the window will be centered properly. Using the front

window as a guide, place a smaller shape die on to the center card stock and cut a window.

Apply adhesive to the left and right 1” flap of the center card stock as shown in the picture.

Fold the center card stock at the 1” score lines. Fold it back as shown in the picture. The back cover is folded forward. Place the center card stock in between the back cover folds

and adhere the back and center card stock together.

When adhering the back cover and center piece, your diorama card should appear as shown in the picture.

Apply adhesive to the back side of the front cover on the left and right 2” flaps as shown in the picture.

Fold the 2” flaps of the front cover at the score line (folding back) and adhere to the 2” flap of the back cover.
