PROGRAME & BASIS OF COMPETITION Competition rules • Competition by couples (two fishermen on a same box). • One rod by fisherman. • Two legs competition: 4 hrs. 30 min. each. • Maximum rods length: 5.00 mts. • Minimum weight: 50 gr. • Double or trebble hooks not allowed. About other rules, this competition will follow the current regulations of FEPyC (Spanish Fishing and Casting Federation). Raffle development Friday 7th will take part pure raffle by sector and place, and at same each couple will extract two ballot, with sector and number of place that will ocupy each day. Classification The classification will be by couples. The scores, assigned ONE POINT by GRAM of total weight get at Control and Weighing, respecting always the miminum size of each species. Classification by sector: Will evaluate the score of each couple at their sector, sorted from higher to lower, and reassigned or converted in “position” of sector, reordered from smaller to bigger. Tie on sector: The tie on weight at same sector, will be solved dividing the sum on classification positions that gets between number of participants on tie. Final classification After get the Leg Classifications, will proceed to sum the positions obtained by couple on each Leg and that sum will be sorted from lower to largest. Playoffs in the sum of positions of legs, if any. It will proceed in this order addressing the following criteria: 1. The total weight obtained in both legs. 2. The best result in any of the sleeves. Stage features Sandy beaches with good easy access and comfortable, very long unobstructed shallow and negligible tides. With currents, sometimes strong, produced by winds. The most common species in these beaches are: Flathead Mullet, Common Bass, Striped seabream, Gilthead seabream, Horse Mackerel, White Seabream The most common species in competition are Mullet, and Common bass, Mullets of significant size being captured. Competition stage Will be stablished 4 fishing sectors of 20 fishermen between Gava and Castelldefels villages. Baits Will be supplied by organization. The total price of bait for both legs will be 70 € , to be paid with the competition registration. The delivery of baits will be held in the box during the time of assembly.
